Jay Riffe began building wood spearguns for himself and friends in his garage over 40 years ago. This labor of love turned into what Riffe is today. Riffe builds the finest quality wood spearguns for the silent hunter. Wood is a beautiful, yet challenging material to work with. Fluctuation in temperature and humidity combined with underwater use can make wood swell and contract. With over 40 years of building spearguns using various types of wood, Riffe got the wood speargun manufacturing process down. When you purchase a Riffe speargun, you can rest assured knowing it is built to withstand years of spearfishing adventures. Riffe loves hearing from those who purchased spearguns from Jay when he was building them decades ago in his garage and are still in use today. Quality and Performance - It's the Riffe way.
Riffe's Mahogany Competition Series. Using mahogany hardwood offers a further competitively priced entry level speargun with the same quality and performance that Riffe exemplifies.
