Have had many of these lights between my wife and I. Any time an issue came up Princeton Tech took care of me. Takes a few weeks round trip but get a new version of same light or if older model malfunctioned will upgrade. New version of switch has improved quality. You get a good dive light with a great warranty.

So...my fiancé is using this light on a return dive week in Bonaire. She is a small to medium sized person, is athletic, and has a solid grip. Using a dive light that takes 8 batteries, despite amazing ergonomics, is a consideration. That being said...brilliant light. She had a smaller light the last trip. It was okay-ish in daytime dives, but made night dives unpleasant. She is new to the night dive idea...the lumens pumped out of this model will add a sense of comfort, and ease. I will gladly follow up and give more specific comments once the trip is finished. Just one more comment...diving at night, or in areas where a light makes the brilliant colors spark...is an experience you just cannot miss. Opting to get a bargain on this type of equipment, after the hefty investments made in other dive gear...is not wise. We dive to see... Happy Seas and Best Fishes to all of you!!

Other than the trigger being hard to operate the Sector 7 light produces more light than I expected, my daughter has a 1000 lumens light and a friend has the sola wrist 800 lumens and this light on our dives has proven to be much better light. Like I said the trigger is hard to operate but other than that very good value

Button is not working properly after the first dive. You need to keep pushing the button to get it to stay on.

I had a Princeton Tec light which lasted 6 years but finally stopped working due to the cheap switch that turns the light on and off. I purchased a new one and it only worked properly for the first 10 minutes of my first dive! The light stayed on and would not shut off. Similar issue as the last light, very poor quality switch. Will be returning this light and will not be purchasing any more Princeton Tec lights due to the poor quality!

all my dives(6) with this light were less than 60 feet light flooded and was sent back 2 months(July 29 2014) ago and still waiting for it to return brought as part of a kit and now the switch has fallen out of the torrent which i use as a back up light, was the first time to replace the batteries .......nice lights if only the quality was better

Exceptional brightness allows penetration of caves and ledges searching for lobsters in lower visibility as well as being able to standoff from ledges in good visibility. Had to add lead strip to front of light to keep it pointed into ledge.

good light shines bright. I like the grip

nice light. a bit tough to get the lens cap back on after the batteries are in, but overall nice.
The Princeton Tec Sector 7 pistol grip spotlight packs 700 lumens of brightness. The light is powered by eight C-cell alkaline batteries (included) while providing 30-hours of total burn time with a 4-hour regulated medium beam with over 689' (210 meter) of visible distance on land. The trigger switch is easy-to-use with gloved hands; access momentary on via a half pull of trigger and constant on via full pull of trigger. The switch locks-out to prevent accidental illumination and battery drain while in transit or storage.
The highest quality LED available from LUMILEDS, Princeton Tec's Max-Bright LED is extremely bright and efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, and white light useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or reflectors with the Max-Bright LED depending upon the application. The Sector 7 is made from impact resistant polycarbonate plastic, weighs 37.9 oz. (1075 g) with batteries, is depth rated to 330' (100 meters), is available in multiple colors, and comes with an owner's manual.
