Very well made, but runs considerably small. Also if you have a prominent jaw line this will likely not fit very comfortably. Vent holes work well, as does the "seal" section around the neck.

What can I say-Typical Pinnacle quality,well made,good material.Thats why 4 stars.However it does not have a pronounced chin,its cut real funny.If you like your hood ridding on your jaw under your chin,this hood will not dissapoint.I am returning it. Look at the photo and you can see what I mean just looking at it.

Warm but not bulky and vents prevent constant adjustment and need to readjust mask strap. Purchased the 3mil to start and grabbed this one went it went on sale.

Fits snug but not too loose or too tight. Better tight then loose to keep cold water from leaking in. Suggestion to other buyers to go 1x size larger

This is a great hood because it comes down far enough to keep your neck and top of your chest warm. Beats the heck out of a chinstrap that rubs with smaller hoods . I did have to trim around the shoulder some but the stitching is solid and it keeps the warth in.

Ordered a small online based on their size chart, but had to go into to store to exchange it. I wound up being a large-extra large (I'm a woman, 5'7", and thought I had a fairly normal-sized head), but found even that to be VERY constricting. The face opening seemed too small generally, it pushed up against the regulator. I wound up going with the Neosport Xspan hood and much preferred it.

This is my first time using a hood and it is not the most fun piece of scuba equipment I have ever purchased. Very restrictive but it does keep one's head warm at depth. I discovered if I leave the apron outside my wetsuit it is a bit more manageable and still provided the warmth I am looking for. I suspect after I get a little more experience the apron will go in my wetsuit but for now I am OK with it outside.

I wear a small wetsuit but have a normal sized head. The large (larger than my measurements) was still too small. Reordered the x-large. I expect it to fit. The quality of the materials is excellent, just a too tight.

I measured the widest part of my head and ordered accordingly, when it arrived it was hard to put on, my face super squished and I didn't even last 3 mins before my jaw started to hurt(yeah i know right?) because the hood was putting too much restrain on it, fortunately I will be returning it and ordering a size bigger which I am confident will fit perfectly and looks that it's made from good material that will last a while, after all Pinnacle is a good brand :)

I swim in a swim spa that is kept at 70deg and every hood that I haave tried out allows TONS of water in the suit. This one seals up better than anything else. I contribuite that to the smooth skin bib. It makes for a lot less cold water being flushed into the suit! Thinking about getting a spare.

I ordered this item twice and both times it was way too small. According to my measurements, I should have taken a medium, which was extremely tight. I ordered the next size up (med/lg) and it was quite tight as well. I also found that the neck wasn't long enough for me so the bib did not tuck into my wetsuit well. All in all, I found it very uncomfortable.

I bought this to use in what I expected to be cool water, it turned out to be very cold water, about 45 degrees, but the hood kept me reasonably warm, I was not too cold to finish the dive. The fit was very good and I am very happy with it. To be honest i spend a lot of time out of doors sometimes in very cold temperatures so take that into consideration. It is definately something I would reccomend to a friend.

Water dropped unexpectedly from 74F to 54F overnight due to currents. Luckily I had this hood in the bag as it made a freezing dive tolerable. I did have to trim the area around the mouthpiece just a touch with scissors to give clearance, but otherwise I was happy to have this in the bag.
