Tusa Liberator TC1 Package

- Liberator BCD w/AWLS III -
The updated, next-generation Liberator BC-0103 buoyancy compensator is a durable, wrap-around jacket style BC. The Liberator comes standard with TUSA's ever-reliable tilt valve inflator. TUSA's new Advanced Weight Loading System III provides hassle-free weight loading. The Ultimate Stabilizing Harness will ensure a comfortable and secure diving experience. Advanced Weight Loading System III (AWLS) allows diver to insert weights into weight-cartridges & loading them easily into the front of the BC jacket. Weight distribution to the shoulder area, weighted-down feeling that is associated with weight belts is eliminated. Weight-Cartridges can accommodate from 8 lbs (3.63kg) of weight in each cartridge.

The Ultimate Stabilizing Harness (USH) eliminates tank roll & delivers amazing fit. The USH securely holds the air cylinder in place w/optimally placed rails & brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight.

The RITETITE Buckle, a 2-position cam strap for quick & easy adjustment. While the strap is looped thru-the-buckle, the buckle stays in place w/o needing to be held, allows for more control & stability. Jacket is made from 500 Cordura and 420D nylon material, with a urethane lamination that has radio frequency (RF) welded seams. Buoyancy control is facilitated with the TUSA Tilt Valve Inflator mechanism. Inflator is equipped with a left shoulder cable activated pull dump valve and comes complete with a 3/8" threaded QD hose assembly. The jacket BCD also has a right shoulder and right rear lower overpressure/relief valves with pull cords for trimming buoyancy in any position when diving. Storage and attachment of accessories is made easy with the two zippered pockets and 1-stainless-steel and 5-resin D-rings.

- RS-1001 Regulator -
The RS-1001 First Stage Regulator boasts a balanced diaphragm system design, upgraded with an enhanced HP poppet assembly for increased reliability. The balanced diaphragm ensures minimal variation in intermediate pressure as tank pressure changes. This first stage regulator is environmentally sealed, protecting delicate internal components from contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine, or pool acids, which can cause corrosion and deteriorate performance.

The first stage features two high-flow low-pressure ports (LP) for optimized second stage performance and easier breathing. These high-flow ports deliver air smoothly to both the primary and octopus second stages at all tank pressures. The RS-1001 First Stage also has two standard LP ports with 3/8" threads and two high-pressure ports (HP) with 7/16" threads. The first stage regulator weighs 1.87 lbs (850 g).

The RS-1001 Second Stage comes with an ortho-conscious silicone mouthpiece for comfort, and a diver-adjustable sensitivity control for smooth air delivery with each breath. The "surface" or "dive" control allows users to adjust breathing ease for different dive segments. The "surface" position reduces free flow likelihood and is recommended for cold water diving. In the "dive" position, the control uses a venturi effect to power-assist the diver's breathing. The exhaust valve features a large, flexible design for minimal exhaust resistance. The second stage uses a reliable downstream demand valve design.

The second stage regulator includes a 29" (74 cm) low-pressure 3/8" threaded hose, with the second stage and hose weighing 5.28 oz. (150 g). The regulator system comes with an owner's manual.

- SS-0001 Safe-Second Octopus -
The SS0001 safe-second has a lightweight and compact composite case design and allows for both left-and-right-hand configuration. The SS0001 features a venturi adjustment lever for easier breathing and an ortho-conscious mouthpiece. The SS0001 combines a classic downstream valve with a large diaphragm and classic purge button. It's simple and robust construction with a techno-polymer valve housing offers the utmost in reliability and makes the SS0001 the ideal second stage for new divers and a perfect choice for deco tanks thanks to its reversible hose attachment. Classic downstream valves are particularly noted for their legendary safety and reliability. When in use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming airflow. To close the valve and stop the airflow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.

The SS0001 Second Stage has venturi system. The venturi uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver-adjustable dive/pre-dive switch.

Backlit Display
Several TUSA computer instruments feature a Backlit Display for night diving or low-light situations. The bright backlight is activated by a touch of a button and the duration can be set for up to 10 seconds in length enabling the diver to view critical dive data easily and quickly.

Free Dive Mode
The Free Dive Mode calculates dive times and surface intervals for free diving.

Rechargeable
TUSA TC1's built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery eliminates the need for battery replacement, and offers up to 25 dives in diving mode and up to 3 months in standby mode.

Vibration Alarm
TUSA TC1 is equipped with Vibrating Alarm Technology. This vibration is similar to the vibration setting on most cellular telephones. The user is alerted to important dive data with several vibrations instead of an audible alarm that can distract your dive partners.
