Tusa Soverin Alpha DC Solar Package

- Soverin Alpha BC with AWLS III -
TUSA's Soverin Alpha incorporates TUSA's new Advanced Weight Loading System (A.W.L.S III). The BCD features a new repositionable D-ring and snap hook design for personal customization. The Soverin Alpha offers a secure comfortable fit provided by TUSA's Independent Harness System, enhanced lumbar and comfort back pad. The newly designed waist belt adjusts effortlessly and the weight trim pockets are sealed by heavy duty zippers.

TUSA's 3'rd generation Advanced Weight Loading System (AWLS III) allows the diver to insert weights into the weight-cartridges and loading them easily into the front of the BC jacket. Additionally, with weight distribution to the shoulder area, the weighted-down feeling that is traditionally associated with weight belts is eliminated. Weight cartridges can accommodate 8 lbs (3.63kg) of weight in each cartridge and two rear zippered closure trim pockets can hold up to 4 lbs (2kg) in each non-releasable pocket. The AWLS weight cartridges are easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that they do not release accidentally.

Torso-adjustable shoulder and sternum straps provide excellent comfort along with an adjustable waist strap with cummerbund provides precise adjustment of harness. All straps are equipped with squeeze-style" side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Sternum strap is equipped with a signaling whistle. The Soverin Alpha BCD has an enhanced lumbar and back pad for maximum comfort. The BCD's Independent Harness System" (IHS) isolates the BC jacket's harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell inflation/deflation. The IHS prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back. The air cell is constructed from durable 500D Cordura with a urethane lamination that has radio frequency (RF) welded seams. Buoyancy control is facilitated with the TUSA Tilt Valve Inflator mechanism. Inflator is equipped with a left shoulder cable activated pull dump valve and comes complete with a 3/8" threaded QD hose assembly. The jacket BCD also has a right shoulder and right rear lower overpressure/relief valves with pull cords for trimming buoyancy in any position when diving.

- RS-1001 Regulator -
The RS-1001 First Stage Regulator boasts a balanced diaphragm system design, upgraded with an enhanced HP poppet assembly for increased reliability. The balanced diaphragm ensures minimal variation in intermediate pressure as tank pressure changes. This first stage regulator is environmentally sealed, protecting delicate internal components from contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine, or pool acids, which can cause corrosion and deteriorate performance.

The first stage features two high-flow low-pressure ports (LP) for optimized second stage performance and easier breathing. These high-flow ports deliver air smoothly to both the primary and octopus second stages at all tank pressures. The RS-1001 First Stage also has two standard LP ports with 3/8" threads and two high-pressure ports (HP) with 7/16" threads. The first stage regulator weighs 1.87 lbs (850 g).

- SS-0001 Safe-Second Octopus -
The SS0001 safe-second has a lightweight and compact composite case design and allows for both left-and-right-hand configuration. The SS0001 features a venturi adjustment lever for easier breathing and an ortho-conscious mouthpiece. The SS0001 combines a classic downstream valve with a large diaphragm and classic purge button. It's simple and robust construction with a techno-polymer valve housing offers the utmost in reliability and makes the SS0001 the ideal second stage for new divers and a perfect choice for deco tanks thanks to its reversible hose attachment. Classic downstream valves are particularly noted for their legendary safety and reliability. When in use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming airflow. To close the valve and stop the airflow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.

- IQ1204 DC Solar Link Dive Computer -
The TUSA IQ1204 DC Solar Link dive computer is the next generation in TUSA's solar-powered devices. Features include: dive log transfer to smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth Smart technology; Solar recharging which eliminates the need to replace a battery; 4-Mix Gas support; Free-Dive Mode, and a factory-sealed and rugged design that prevents flooding. Using Bluetooth Smart technology, you can transfer the dive logs from the IQ1204 DC Solar Link dive computer to any smartphone or tablet with TUSA Diving Log app. Once uploaded to your device, dive logs can be shared with your friends on social media.

Solar Rechargeable:
Rechargeable by sunlight or indoor fluorescent light. The solar rechargeable feature eliminates the need for battery replacements.

4 Gas Mix:
This advanced feature allows the diver to preset four individual gas mixtures (Mix 1, Mix 2, Mix 3, Mix 4) from 21-100% for easy switching during the dive.

Altitude Smart Mode:
The altitude smart mode allows the computer to automatically adjust for altitude diving.

Audible Alarm:
TUSA's computers feature audible and visual alarms for the most important dive data warnings. Ascent rate, maximum depth, no decompression limits, safety stop and several other key data can be set to alert the diver.

Backlit Display:
Several TUSA computer instruments feature a backlit display for night diving or low-light situations. The bright backlight is activated by a touch of a button and the duration can be set for up to 10 seconds in length enabling the diver to view critical dive data easily and quickly.

Free Dive Mode: The free dive mode calculates dive times and surface intervals for free diving.
