Quite possibly the best BCD Sherwood has ever built.
The new Avid 700 Series is a robust, full featured BC that provides tremendous comfort, fit and styling. The hydrodynamic jacket style bladder provides a more noticeable comfort than other similar BCs on the market today. With the neoprene padded neck roll, the Avid is the perfect live aboard style BC. After numerous dives the chaffing and irritation you might experience is completely-eliminated.

The highly regarded CQR-3 weight system provided convenience, stability and ease of weight insertion, all the while boasting the most secure weight integrated system in the market today. The larger handles on the CQR-3 system are superb with thicker gloves as well. The redesigned styling of the traditional jacket-style Avid maintains its respected functionality, comfort and dependability. The Avid 700 Series webbing allows for smoother shoulder and waist strap adjustments. Trim weight pockets provide better accessibility and easier trim weight adjustments.

This jacket-style BC wraps air completely around you for easy floating. When fully inflated, the 3-D air cell and the suspension strap system combines to create a stable and secure fit that is designed to eliminate squeeze. BC is equipped with six convenient, stainless steel D-rings to attach your gear and zippered utility side pockets for additional scuba accessories. A convenient utility pocket with hook and loop closure sized to carry the Akona Safety Tube (SKU: AKNST). A removable and adjustable sternum strap for a complete fit with squeeze-style side release buckles on shoulder torso straps, waist and sternum for a perfect custom fit. and an easy to operate oral and power inflator makes buoyancy control a snap when diving.

Three dump valves strategically located at the left and right shoulders with a third on the lower left of the air cell make dumping air a breeze. The right and lower dump/overpressure relief- valves have pull dump handles for quick access. The third valve is integrated to the top of the Sherwood power inflator and is activate by a cable running down the corrugated inflator hose. New exhaust valves provide refreshing and contemporary look. The Avid CQR 3 BCD is available in multiple sizes with a lift capacity of 20 to 36 lbs. (9 to 16.3kg). The air cell is manufactured with durable and heavy-duty 1000 Denier that is urethane laminated for air tight integrity.

The x-small and small can accommodate 16 lbs. (7.26kg) of releasable weight and 10 lbs. (4.5kg) of non-releasable weight. The medium, large and x-large accommodate 20 lbs. (9kg) of releasable weight and 10 lbs. (4.5kg) of non-releasable weight, while the 2 and 3 x-large accommodate 26 lbs. (11.8kg) of releasable weight and 10 lbs. (4.5kg) of non-releasable weight. The Avid BCD comes equipped with a 3/8" threaded low-pressure quick-disconnect hose and owner's manual.

- Sherwood Oasis Pro Regulator -
Introducing the new Sherwood Oasis, a completely redesigned regulator for ultimate comfort and easy breathing in all diving conditions. Tested in the most rigorous conditions, the Oasis boasts a proprietary valve design in its second stage, providing excellent performance in both lab and field tests.

The Oasis features innovative Moisture Retention Vanes that effectively capture exhaled moisture and return it upon inhalation, eliminating cotton mouth during your dive. The large diaphragm and purge cover ensure easy breathing, and the diver-operated Venturi control allows for easy adjustments.

The first stage of the Oasis is a dry, environmentally sealed design with no gels or liquids, maintaining a clean interior. Sherwood's unique dry sealed spring and flow-by piston balance the air in the first stage, ensuring excellent breathing characteristics at any cylinder pressure. The marine-grade chrome-plated brass construction ensures durability and longevity.

The regulator remains virtually uncontaminated from salt, sand, or chlorine, thanks to the dry seal function. With two high-pressure and four low-pressure ports, the Oasis is a workhorse first stage regulator. Its tee-shaped design reduces profile when mounted on a tank, minimizing contact with the back of the head.

The second stage of the Oasis features a large diaphragm and exhaust valve for optimal inhalation response and decreased exhalation resistance. With its dependable downstream demand valve design, high-impact glass-filled polyamide housing, and venturi adjustment lever, the Oasis is a top choice for any diving enthusiast. Moisture retention vanes promote hydration and reduce dry mouth effects, making the Oasis perfect for warm-water divers. The regulator comes with a 3/8" threaded 31" (78.75cm) low-pressure hose, is nitrox compatible up to 40% oxygen, and includes an owner's manual.

- Sherwood Octopus -
Sherwood Octopus has been totally redesigned to provide outstanding breathing performance. The Octopus maintains dedication to rugged reliability combined with ease of maintenance. This octopus has been the overwhelming favorite for rental applications for decades because of its simple reliability. Regulator has a large diaphragm for optimal response to inhalation with a precision ground stainless-steel cam and Delrin lever for smooth effortless breathing. The valve mechanism is a dependable downstream demand valve. The regulator is equipped with a large quality silicone exhaust valve that decreases exhalation resistance for easy breathing.

The Sherwood Octopus has a high impact resistant plastic housing for rugged applications. The low-pressure seat is resilient silicone rubber for extreme reliability. The low-pressure hose has standard 3/8" threads with a 36" (91.4 cm) length. The Hi-Viz soft purge cover makes identification of the octopus regulator easy in an out-of-air-emergency.

- Genesis 2 Gauge Compact Console, Imperial -
Genesis Compact Console is just that low profiled and ergonomically designed to fit in the hand comfortably, and is easy to read at a glance with its outstanding graphics. The Compact Console has an air-filled depth gauge with a 0 to 200' readout and maximum depth indicator. The colored graphics allow quick glance monitoring with bright red depth indicators at strategic positions on the gauge face. The red indicators are at 0' and 10' and then from depths beyond the standard sport limits of 130' to 200'. The depth range between 35' and 120' are in blue and bright orange markers indicate the deco-stop depths between 20' and 30'. Gauge face is luminescent for low light situations.

Pressure Gauge reads pressure up to 5000 psi and features a thermometer for temperature readings. As like the depth gauge, the pressure gauge has high visibility graphics with bright red from 0 to 500 psi reserve air orange indicators between 500 to 1,000 psi for extended reserve air for deeper dives and blue between 1,500 to 5,000 psi and the gauge face is also luminescent. The temperature gauge has a bright red needle for easy reading. Pressure gauge comes with a 32" (81.3cm) high pressure 7/16" threaded hose. Both gauges are small 1.75" (4.4cm) diameter and protected by a sleek impact resistant rubber boot that has dual rubber eyelets for attachment of a lanyard or clip keeping the diver streamline and reef and environment conscious. Console also has a small slate located on the back side that can be removed to incorporate the compass option (see SKU: SWDCM6).
