Ocean Reef Space Extender Mask with 1st Stage, QD and Swivel

State-of-the-art integrated regulator½is a balanced adjustable design for ease of breathing at all depths. Regulator is equipped with a dive/pre-dive switch for added protection against unwanted free flow. The regulator is Nitrox compatible up to 40% Oxygen out-of-the-box. The mask has a reduced internal volume½which brings the visor closure to the face for an improved visual field; visible light transfer of visor is 92%.½Premium grade silicone rubber bellows-type skirt (30mm-45mm, double that of a conventional mask)½with a wide sealing surface for leak-proof use. The mask has a durable, scratch-resistant polycarbonate visor (siloxane double coated for scratch resistance), 4-position adjustable exhaust valve,½patented 3-D equalization system and a newly designed quick release system. The six-strap head harness with low elasticity and FRB (Fast Rotating Buckle), providing firm mask positioning and quick mask donning and doffing.½

Integrated surface air valve allows breathing ambient air while on surface to conserve supply air system. Easy access rubber purge button½for fast efficient mask clearing. The mask has a tech-polymer protection treatment that allow for use in extreme conditions. Space Extender FFM can be used with a communication unit and various system accessories. The Space Extender FFM is specifically designed for professional and high-performance applications. The Space Extender complies with CE Certification in accordance with 89/689/EEC directives under the UNI EN250 standard rules for underwater activities, including low temperatures (<50° F/10° C). The Ocean Reef high performance balanced diaphragm 1st-stage regulator is specifically designed for use with the Space Full Face Mask. The regulators use a diaphragm design to create an environmentally sealed mechanism to ensure durability and high performance even in contaminated water. The balanced diaphragm, chrome plated marine brass first stage regulator is inherently environmentally sealed. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the delicate internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance.½

With the SL35TX there is a Secondary Environmental Diaphragm Membrane that seals off the spring chamber keeping the first stage completely sealed off from the environment adding a second layer of corrosion resistance and prevention of freezing in cold water use. The regulator has an adjustable intermediate pressure to meet varying supply pressure requirements. The body of the regulator is made of marine grade brass with a satin body finish and internally has a stainless-steel piston, Teflon seat, and stainless-steel spring. Standard yoke connection 3000 psi (200 bar) with 2 high pressure ports 7/16-20 UNF and 4 low pressure ports 3/8-24 UNF with a superior flow rate of approx. 170 cubic feet per minute (4800 l/m) at 2030.5 psi (140 bars).

Hose fittings are made from chrome plated brass for durability and long life. This Extraflex Quick Disconnect Hose allows for quick and easy connection and disconnection at the second stage, so the mask may be transported free of the first stage regulator. Hose can be used when multiple users are either using the same mask or regulator set ups, making switch over's fast and easy. Hose has standard 3/8" Threads for connection to the first stage and the Extraflex Hose material adds comfort when wearing the mask. Hose comes complete with male QD fitting for connection to second stage regulator and the hose is available in two lengths of 32" (81.3cm) and 48" (121.9cm).

Swivel Connection (Used with Neptune Space and Neptune II NIRA masks), is made of chromium plated brass for durability and long life. Swivel connection is easy to install.
