- Mares Bolt SLS BCD -
The Bolt SLS BCD is superbly comfortable and streamlined. Great for travel. The Mares Bolt SLS BCD is a giant step in the evolution of back mounted BCDs. The first thing you will notice when donning the Bolt SLS BCD is the perfect fit. This new level of comfort is achieved via special shoulder pads which are longer, pre-shaped and reinforced, and which work in perfect unison with the lumbar suspension system. This suspension system is inspired by the design of modern hiking backpacks; the system avoids direct contact between the body and the tank support. Bolt SLS BCD features 6 stainless steel D-rings for complete accessory attachment. Made of very tough 420 Cordura material, it will endure any exposure you submit it to and hold up to the test of time.

Air-cell is separated from the harness, resulting in unrestricted freedom of movement. The bladder is equipped with bungee cords that will aid in a low profile when it is inflated and facilitates rapid deflation when dumping air. BCD comes standard with 3 pull-dump/overpressure relief valves, one is incorporated into the top of the Ergo Inflator; another is located on the right shoulder and a third is located on the rear lower right. Activation of the valves are made easy with both the upper and lower right valves coming with pull cords and the valve incorporated into the Ergo Inflator is activated by an internal cable attached to the inflator mechanism. Mares Ergo Inflator the standard inflation and deflation control device used in sanctioned training programs. Intuitive use and secure grip. The Ergo Inflator comes standard with a 3/8" threaded low pressure quick-disconnect hose.

Shoulder straps with swivel action buckle design, adjustable chest strap and a waist strap are all equipped with squeeze-style" side-release buckles that along with the adjustable cummerbund provide a custom fit and ease of donning/doffing. BCD provides storage when needed with its roll-down cargo pocket. The Bolt SLS BCD has Mares Slide & Lock System (SLS) for weight release. In addition, the BCD is equipped with smart trim weight positioning for a balanced feel when diving.

The Slide & Lock System (SLS) weight pockets have sturdy zipper closures and are easy to slide into the BCD even when wearing thick gloves. The SLS is the safest system available and come in weight capacities of 9 lbs. and 13 lbs. (4 kg and 6 kg) weight capacities. For a balanced weight distribution, the Bolt SLS BCD also has a rear weight trim pockets with a weight capacity of 5 lbs. (2.27 kg). SLS weight and trim pockets will work with block or soft pouch weights.

The 15X first stage features pre-oriented ports, an ACT valve ensuring safety and reliability, and a DFC system for top-notch performance at any depth. Compact and dependable, this first stage is built with a sandblasted chrome-plated marine brass and a balanced diaphragm design. This environmentally sealed design prevents contaminants like salt, sand, and chlorine from affecting the internal mechanism, ensuring optimal regulator performance.

Utilizing A.C.T. Advanced Coating Technology, the Dual 15X valve offers enhanced durability - 600% more than its predecessor. The valve features a hard Polyurethane (PU) coating with a soft PU sealing surface for a perfect seal.

The first stage is also equipped with Dynamic Flow Control (DFC), minimizing intermediate pressure drops and providing stable air flow even in extreme conditions. It comes with four 3/8" LP ports and two 7/16" HP ports for attachment of pressure gauges or air-integrated consoles.

- Mares Dual Octopus -
This lightweight Mares Dual Octopus is made of techno-polymer features an oversized silicone purge button so that the purge button is easy to push. All Mares second stages are a reliable downstream valve design and offer the unique patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

Furthermore, the compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue and offering a secure fit even after very long dives. Mares developed the Superflex hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and further reducing jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with a high visibility yellow Superflex hose that is a 3/8" threaded high flow hose and is 39.4" (100cm) in length. The regulators total weight is 12.7 oz. (359 g) with hose. Regulator is Nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out of the box.

Mares has always paid special attention and devotee's its self to ergonomic design. The material used in manufacturing Mares instruments boots, are highly shock resistant elastomer to protect the gauges accuracy and affords a secure grip in every situation with any type of glove. The compact pressure gauge with its durable brass case and techno polymer lens has a luminesce dial for easy reading in day or night diving situations. Face of pressure gauge is color coded for safe air reserve in a glance.

Pressure gauge has 0 to 5,000 psi readout with a safety reserve 1000 psi color coded in red to allow the diver to know that they are low on air. The 2000 psi to full scale is color coded in blue. The pressure gauges 7/16" UNF neoprene jacket double braided high-pressure hose has a 360 Degree swivel and is 36" (90cm) long. Gauge is nitrox ready to 40% oxygen out of the box.

This very accurate oil filled depth gauge reads depth from 0' to 230' and comes equipped with a maximum depth indicator needle (MDIN). The MDIN is pushed by the gauge depth needle until the diver meets their maximum depth. The MDNI will remain at the maximum depth reached for the duration of the dive to indicate the diver's deepest depth reached during the dive. This feature allows the diver to not record that depth while diving yet will be available upon surfacing for later calculations for repetitive dives. Depth Gauge is color coded for easy and safe reading at a glance. Depth Gauge has a 0' to 230' readout with a safety red color-coded section from 0' to 30'. The impact-resistant boot has multiple eyelets for attachment of clips or lanyards to keep the gauge close at hand and from dragging over the environment.
