The chrome plated marine brass 1'st stage regulator is a balanced diaphragm design which is inherently environmentally sealed. The diaphragm membrane transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The Prestige15X uses A.C.T. Advanced Coating Technology. Created to optimize performance, safety & reliability. The valve is covered w/hard Polyurethane (PU) & sealing surface is layered w/soft PU for a perfect seal. Tri-material (brass, soft PU & heavy-duty PU) reaches new levels of durability. The valve is 600% more durable than its predecessor.

Another feature of the 1'st stage is the dynamic flow control (DFC). The DFC system minimizes intermediate pressure drop during inhalation. The Prestige15X 1'st stage guarantees stable flow of air, even under extreme conditions. The 1'st stage is equipped w/4 LP ports w/3/8" & 2 HP 7/16" ports.

The 2'nd stage Vortex Assist Design (V.A.D.) system: the air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex w/a low-pressure area in the center this keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, giving very sensitive & easy breathing at all depths. The 2'nd stage cover features mesh-grid system for water inflow & outflow, which provides a further performance improvement. The compact & ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance & reduced exhalation resistance. Mares Prestige 2'nd stage incorporates Fluid Dynamic Deflector, which receives & properly direct airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined w/VAD system it delivers very natural & effortless breathing. All in a lightweight Techno-Polymer housing. Super flex hose is lightweight & soft, for maximum freedom of movement & reducing jaw fatigue, has 3/8" threads & is 31.5" (80cm) in length. The regulator weighs 34 oz (965g).

The Prestige Octopus is a mid-size octopus design that give steady, natural and effortless breathing. Like the primary second stage the octopus is reliable downstream valve, has the VAD system bypass tube, and features the "mesh-grid" system for water inflow and outflow and the same compact and ergonomic exhaust tee. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue. The Octopus also incorporates a Fluid Dynamic Deflector and combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing.

The Mares Mission Puck 2 Console consisting of the Puck Computer Capsule and a compact easy-to-read pressure gauge with a chrome-plated brass body. The shock resistant elastomeric techno polymer console boot has been designed with optimized angles and shape for maximum ergonomics. The Mission Puck 2 Computer uses Mares-Wienke RGBM (Reduced Gradient Bubbles Model) algorithm. The RGBM considers micro-bubbles in order to prevent their formation. In over 10,000 real dives monitored by Dr Bruce Wienke, the formation of micro-bubbles has been studied and evaluated; it is the most evolved algorithm for reducing the formation of micro-bubbles without compromising dive times.

The Computers easy excess push buttons allow the diver to operate the computer in all conditions, even when wearing thick gloves. Navigating through the computer programs is extremely simple and very intuitive. There are three special function modes of air, nitrox and bottom time. The Mission Puck 2 Console has a maximum depth display of 492' (150m), a memory capacity of 36 hours, runs on a user replaceable 3 Volt CR2450 lithium battery, power indicator, back lighting for low light conditions, has a plan mode display, can be used in both imperial or metric units, fresh or seawater settings, residual nitrogen reset, option to exclude audible alarms and uncontrolled ascents, has an ascent rate indicators and is altitude adjustable. The Puck also has a watch, date and temperature functions. The Puck has an optional USB interface for logging dives on your PC.

The Puck has a precautionary program setting that allow individual adjustment to more conservative dive profiles if needed. When you do multi-level, multiple dives during a single day or multiple dives over several days you can choose different setting levels in order to adjust your computer to a more conservative dive profile.

The Puck has superior display readability. In order to offer an easy-to-read display Mares produced a wide computer display, with intense backlighting and high contrast. The computer featuring illuminated, oversized digits. Special attention is paid to maximize the viewing angle, to eliminate angular distortion and to always grant the best readability.

The Mission 1 Submersible Pressure Gauge has a 0 to 5,000 psi readout with a safety reserve 500 psi color coded in red to allow the diver to know that they are low on air. The 7/16" UNF neoprene jacket double braided High-Pressure Hose has a 360-Degree swivel and is 36" (90cm) long. Pressure Gauge has a florescent dial for easy reading in day or night diving situations. Face of pressure gauge is color coded for safe air reserve in a glance. The Prestige BCD is a robust and sturdy Jacket Style BCD made from 1,000 Cordura/Polyurethane. The long backpack with handle for stability, 2" (50mm) waist closure and dual-adjustment chest closures, large zippered self-draining three-dimensional pockets, bladder with its enveloping fit, adjustable cummerbund, backpack cover, and the padded shoulder straps are a few of the features designed to provide complete comfort.

Rear non-releasable weights pockets holding 5.5 lbs. (2.5kg) per pocket, secured with quick release buckles. High lift capacity across all sizes 45 lbs. (20.5kg) in large size compared to traditional bladder constructions support even when loaded by the weight of heavy tanks and many accessories. You'll have plenty of places to attach those accessories with the 4 stainless steel D-rings bent at a 30 Degree angle for ease of use, 2 heavy-duty techno-polymer D-rings and grommets for Mares Force Knife Collection.

Buoyancy control is established with the Ergo Inflator shoulder pull dump and rear quick-dump/over-pressure relief valve. The Ergo is the standard inflation/deflation control unit on Mares BCD's. Prestige comes in multiple sizes.
