Engineered with your comfort and safety in mind, the harness features shoulder pads constructed from robust 1000-denier ballistic nylon fabric. This material ensures tear and abrasion resistance, enhancing the longevity of your diving gear. The shoulder and waist straps, created from 2" nylon webbing, are robustly built to handle an impressive breaking strength of 7,000 lbs.

Accessibility and versatility are key in this design, with four slightly bent 2" D-rings on each shoulder strap for easy access. The placement of these rings can be adjusted to suit your needs. Do note that the medium-sized harness comes with one 2" D-ring per shoulder strap due to space constraints. All hardware, including D-rings, XT chest plates, belt buckle, cam strap buckles, and side plates, is crafted from marine-grade 316-stainless-steel, emphasizing our commitment to quality and durability.

The shoulder straps feature unique pivot rings at chest level, designed to offer unparalleled comfort, fit, and load distribution. For added convenience, we've integrated acetyl resin engineered plastic "squeeze-style" quick-release buckles on the shoulder straps, simplifying doff and don.

The harness includes a chest strap, fashioned from 1" nylon webbing rated at 2,200 lbs. breaking strength, and features a Delrin 1" squeeze-style quick-release buckle. To ensure proper placement of shoulder straps, we've used marine-grade stainless-steel base plates that can be adjusted forward or backward on the waist strap for the best fit and performance.

Each Dive Rite Transplate Harness comes with a comprehensive owner's manual and is available in a variety of sizes to suit all divers. Weighing between 39 oz. and 48 oz. depending on the size, this harness is proudly made in the U.S.A, showcasing the best of American engineering.
