Inspired by the mountaineer's backpack design, the Dive Rite Trans-Plate Harness flawlessly disperses weight across your hips and back, easing the strain off your shoulders. When coupled with a 6 lbs. steel back-plate, you can easily minimize or completely do away with weight pockets. Featuring adjustable straps, it fits effortlessly over a range of exposure suits, simplifying donning and doffing.

Standing out in terms of durability, the shoulder pads are constructed from 1000-denier ballistic nylon fabric, highly resistant to tears and abrasion. The harness incorporates 2" nylon webbing with an impressive breaking strength of 7,000 lbs., forming the robust shoulder and waist straps.

This highly customizable harness has been designed keeping your needs in mind. It features four 2" D-rings on each shoulder strap, adjustable for improved access. For sizes with space restrictions, we have ensured at least one 2" D-ring per shoulder strap. With marine grade 316-stainless-steel hardware used throughout, the harness includes bent D-rings on each shoulder strap, waist D-rings, XT chest plates, belt buckle, cam strap buckles, and side plates.

For unmatched comfort, fit, and load distribution, the shoulder straps feature pivot rings at chest-level. The straps also incorporate acetyl resin-engineered plastic "squeeze-style" quick-release buckles for effortless doff and don. The harness also includes 1" nylon webbing for a chest strap, known for its high breaking strength, paired with a Delrin squeeze-style quick-release buckle.

Finally, the marine-grade stainless-steel base plates can be adjusted forward or backward on the waist strap, allowing you to achieve the best fit and performance. Despite these premium features and components, the harness weighs only between 39 oz. to 48 oz. depending on the size. It's proudly made in the U.S.A and comes with a detailed owner's manual for easy reference. Please note that the stainless steel and/or aluminum back-plate, and cam straps are sold separately.
