Hollis 150LX DC7 Regulator with Gauge and Hose

An additional regulator being added to the Hollis Regulator line is the 150LX, similar in design to the 200LX but without the PVD Plating. The 150LX delivers great performance at a moderate price. This second stage is paired with the DC2 DIN or Yoke first stage regulator for a great travel the world design or for those divers looking for a regulator to provide performance during long deco stops. The front metal ring, packing nut & end cap in stainless steel. All LX regulators come standard with 30" (76.2cm) MiFlex hoses and orthodontic mouthpieces with dual color tabs.

The Hollis DC2 1st Stage Regulator is a compact and streamlined over-balanced diaphragm regulator design that provides progressively greater intermediate pressure as depth and gas density increases for superior gas delivery under the most extreme conditions. The diaphragm membrane transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for the surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance. The standard diaphragm regulator does allow water into the mainspring chamber so that the diaphragm can perform this transmission of pressure changes.

With the DC2 there is a secondary environmental diaphragm membrane that seals off the spring chamber keeping the first stage completely sealed off from the environment adding a second layer of corrosion resistance and the environmental sealing prevents icing of the first stage, allowing the regulator to withstand the rigorous CE standard for cold-water performance. The first stage has 4 low pressure ports (LP) with 3/8" threads and 2 high pressure port (HP) with 7/16" threads. The DC2 First Stage Regulator is manufactured from forged marine-grade chrome plated brass. The compact & streamlined design provides the ultimate control over the internal air path for superior air delivery. The DC2 is Nitrox compatible to 40% out of the box.

The 150XL Second Stage Regulator is a pneumatically balanced chrome-plated brass valve results in smooth, easy breathing. Is equipped with a reversible demand valve that can be converted from right-handed hose configuration to left-handed hose configuration. The second stage has an adjustable Dive/Pre-Dive switch: Large Venturi lever has a soft rubber grip, which makes it easy to locate and use. Ergonomic exhaust channels bubbles away from field of view and reduces exhaust effort. Improved orthodontic mouthpiece with dual color tabs and a stainless-steel cosmetic ring. Regulator comes with a CD owner's manual.

The Hollis Brass Pressure Gauge is a solid and compact brass SPG. This rugged and easy-to-read gauge works great as a primary or even backup pressure gauge for the beginner to the most advanced technical diver. Gauge has a luminescent face for easy reading in low light or night diving conditions. Pressure gauge module has a durable tempered glass scratch resistant lens.

Gauge is oxygen cleaned with an air-spool equipped with Viton O-rings, so its oxygen compatible to 100% O2. Gauge is available imperial or metric with a pressure readout of 0 to 5,000 psi or 0 to 360 bars. The Gauge has a red color-coded readout of 0 to 700 psi (50 bars) for safety reserve air. Do you need a short hose for use with a stage bottle or a full-length hose for your primary regulator? Whatever your need is Hollis has a hose to match those needs. Hose is available in 6" (15cm), 9" (23cm), 24" (61cm) and 28" (71cm) lengths. Hose is a durable braided with rubber jacket hose and comes equipped with corrosion resistant chrome plated brass fittings. Hose has a 7/16" male threaded end for attachment to your first stage regulators high pressure port. Hose is complete with O-rings, so it's ready for hook-up out-of-the-box.
