They don’t make a good snorkel anymore. This one does the job but doesn’t have an in-line purge. It is it is rigid. And works well for free diving as well as scuba diving. The clip is lame but nothing a dollar strap can’t fix.

Soft and comfy, just a bit short for snorkeling even in slightest wave action.

first thing i noticed when i used this snorkel is the air flow is unrestricted and it was a HUGE difference from my old snorkel, very happy about that! like the discription says its flexible and theres little to no drag when descending or ascending. only con with this snorkel is if the water is a little choppy and/or windy you will take in some water. i swallowed about 2 or 3 ounces of ocean the other day :) ... it's better designed to stay closer to your face wich is great, some older snorkels i have used felt like i had to hold it in place with my mouth, this one lines up very well

Excellent snorkel, but poor material on the snorkel keeper. Third keeper that arrived broken during shipping. Contacted Omer Customer service and they sent me some replacements.

I'am a unorthodox waterman. On flat days I just snorkle and explore. When the waves are good I body surf useing a mask snorkle, fins, and a wave blade.Useing this snorkle make's being in the ocean a whole lot safer.

This is by far one of the best snorkels on the market. Its basic design means there are no moving parts that could fail (try clearing a fancy snorkel when there is sand stuck in the purge valve and you'll know what I mean). The lightweight, curved tube makes the snorkel unobtrusive and, true to its manufacturer's claims, it does not vibrate during the ascent from a freedive. The flexible tube can make the snorkel keeper difficult to adjust, but I changed it in favor of one made from silicone to make it less likely to break.

I often do sprearfishing in jetties, around rocks and in fast currents. Previously I was using more fancy snorkels with purge walve. This one is much better! Less drag, less restricted airflow. No problem adjusting the height, you just need to pry the slit with your fingers.

I spearfish lots near jetty rocks. Purges are a no no. This snorkel will flex and give you less pull on the side of your head while descending. very comfortable mouth piece, but beware of clamping too hard. You can't bite down like a hard snorkel or you will bite off the grips in your mouth. You will have to use an extra figure 8 snorkel keeper to keep it in place. The hard plastic keeper will not always hold it in place and it is hard to adjust in height.

If you are looking for a snorkel to go sightseeing with, this is NOT the snorkel for you. This snorkel was designed, like all other Omer gear, with the hunter in mind. The snorkel has a large bore with a simple shape which makes breathing extremely easy, perfect for the freediver trying to catch his breath at the surface. The curved area of the "J" in this snorkel is quite flat which does not allow water to collect as was the case with traditional "J" tubes. My favorite thing about this snorkel has to be its flexibility. This come in handy when poking your head under structure looking for hiding fish. With the rigid snorkels the top of the tube would rub on the roof of the structure and sometimes even get caught. This can be quite irritating. With the flexible snorkel this is eliminated. The keeper that comes with the snorkel DOES move. It slides up and down the tube and can even be taken off with a little effort. To get the most comfortable fit one has to have a few trials and errors. I took off the provided keeper and placed a loop on the side of my mask strap. The tube is then pushed through this loop and held from slipping out with a traditional keeper. Once again, this snorkel is not for the sightseeing snorkler. There are snorkels out there that clear easier, are more forgiving when it comes to taking in water, fit better and easier. This snorkel is for the hunter just to catch his breath at the surface, spit out the mouth piece, and then back down again. Had it for about two years now, no problems.............. Cheers

This snorkel is what I have been looking for. It is a basic snorkel with nothing extra. It is very flexible and appears to be well made. Although the snorkel keeper was hard to move, once I put a long blunt instrument between the snorkel and the keeper, I was able to move it. Since I like the old fashion keeper, I removed the attached keeper so I can use my own.

This is a well constructed snorkel, and I like the folding capability. However, I had difficulty getting the snorkel fit to my face. The snorkel keeper cannot be moved up or down, making it hard for me to get the mouthpiece positioned. In addition, the bite tabs on the mouthpiece are very small. I was not able to get this to fit well on my average-sized face, so it has set in my gear bag unused.

Essentially an updated version of the classic and reliable J-style snorkel. No fancy purge valves or other gadgets.

The Zoom Pro snorkel series has been developed, by Omer technicians, specifically for spear fishing and free diving. The shapes of the silicone mouthpiece and the air tube have been ergonomically designed to follow the profile of the spear fisherman's face, to greatly reduce its visibility during the dive. The internal diameter of the tube is 8" (20mm), a specific dimension to optimize the air flow rate.
The tube of the Zoom Pro is manufactured in thermoplastic urethane (TPU), an extremely flexible plastic material with a high mechanical strength. The tube will undergo no swelling in water and won't yellow under the action of UV light. The snorkel has a high rebound elasticity and "snappiness", allowing the diver to fold it when it is not needed, and to take it out whenever the use of a snorkel becomes a necessity. Snorkel has an easy to use snorkel keeper.
