CODY C : How does this reel attach to a weight belt?CHRISTOPHER F : You simply slide the belt though the opening on the back of the reel. If you want to use this reel effectivly you should watch the youtube video titled "African Spearfishing Diaries Extra's 1 Shooting large fish with The Rob Allen Belt Reel" since I cant send you the actual link I changed the belt mount to a spear gun mount once I got this reel. I like the gun mount better. However you will probably need to ask for a gun mounting clip when you order. I hope this helps.LUKE B : There is a secure clamp on the back the reel slides on like a normal weightCHIN K : I attached spear gun not weight belt:)JOSE F : You need to remove two screws from the back strap to remove it. To attach to the weight belt place the reel in the desired position on the belt and sandwich the belt between the reel and the strap. Re-install the two screws to secure in place. Once installed on your belt it will be fixed in place and cannot be removed so you will be using the cord from your weight belt which could be tricky.

Came very fast

If you want to shoot big fish, you need a reel. A large fish can pull your spear gun right out of your hand when it gets shot. The fish will begin to sound and when it does the fishes strength can take you for a ride. If you are not on Scuba this could become a problem very fast without a reel. The Match Sport is a plastic reel derived from the original design of the Match 50 Reel but simplified to offer a competitively priced accessory. This reel features the same anti-tangle system, stainless-steel sliding line guide for even and smooth line pay out and rewinding.

The Match Sport Reel is equipped with a classic standard friction which holds the reel in a locked position. In addition, the reel also features a drag system which keeps the line in- tension even when the friction is completely open. The winding knob is non-retractable. The line capacity is 165' (50 meter) of 0.6" (1.5mm) thick line.

The Omer Match Sport Reel with Belt Fitting and Line is intended for pneumatic guns only, and not to be used with band guns.
