Great fit

South OC - Best Westsuit *****
Hands down the most comfortable wetsuit I've owned -by a MILE. Even being .5 mil thicker it wears like a gooey 2mm suit, completely unrestrictive it wears like a second skin. Perfect suit for South OC, it replaced my 3/2 and 4/3 covering all my temperature needs of those suits. I've worn it from 54 to 64 and I'm in the water for 3 hours on average never feeling overheated or any sense of cold. I'm convinced if anyone tried one of these suits and anyone that has can attest, they would never go back to another brand and other brands would have a hard time surviving against this line of suits. **I'm also short with a stocky upper body and this is the first suit that I haven't had to alter the legs of my wetsuit to address elephant leg.

Hyperfreak 3/2+ stoke
Super stoked on the wetsuit! Lg fits great! I have worn med/tall in wetsuits before , but I decided to go with a LG this time and it fits great! Im 6'1" 178lbs kinda "lanky" build. Thanks Oneill!

no more back zips for me.
As a windsurfer, windsurf foiler and now winger in the Hood River area, I appreciate the flexibility and warmth of the newer hyper freak design and materials. With no back zip, I also appreciate the much slower flow of the insulating layer of water into the suit. this allows us to use a 4/3 and 3/2 in much colder water than other models and brands we have owned over the years.

Wanted to try something new,
Wanted to try something new, so went with the chest zip and ordered the large-tall based on height/weight recommendation on website (I was right in middle of recommended range), but way too restrictive and difficult to get on... Went back to back zip in XL and was perfect.. Exchange was easy and quick, perfect suit at great price.. great customer service and awesome wet suit

warm flex and smooth like no other till now
Best wetsuit ever!!! After 4 Rip Curl suits I just got my Hyperfreak 3/2+ and felt very comfortable. Warm, flexible and the smooth texture feels great! My last one were a Psycotech wich I loved for 4 years but theres no comparison. This brand new Hyperfreak is awesome!

Not a review person. Doing this for my fellow tall people. Coming in at 160 lbs and 6'4", I can't express how valuable a large tall was. It fits! Also, the wetsuit is freaking dope dude. Been using it to cruise the rivers with my daughter, it's so versatile and useful.

Love flexibility and plenty warm for San Diego surf. Fit is great too. Love how easy it is to get wetsuit over shoulders. Some of my others front chest zip suits are really difficult to get off around shoulders.

I haven't worn a wetsuit for quite sometime. I just recently started to surf again & this suit by far is the best fitting. My arms & shoulders move with great flexibility. Top notch O'Neill!

Like a sweatshirt and sweatpants
Been surfing in NY since 1991 when wetsuits had zippers on the calves. Been through a lot of wetsuits in 30 years and this is hands down the most comfortable suit I've ever owned. Have it in 4/3+ as well.

Best suitbever
Fits perfect for my size, I'm a bit wide under the arms and all the guys said to get a M, but a LS fits me like a glove. Stretchiest most comfortable suit. Only downside is the inside Sean's started falling off after 1 yr and the snap enclose ripped off. But I sent it in and the warranty group fixed everything. Just hope it didn't happen again in a years time.

Love this wetsuit bought 2. I'm a shorter stocky built and this suit is perfect for this body type because if it's flexibility! Love this suit and fit! Order and shipping was perfect. Lightweight TechnoButter Neoprene Construction
This 3/2mm+ men's chest zip wetsuit is constructed with exclusive super light Recycled TechnoButter 3 and TechnoButter 3X neoprene. The full body and legs use TechnoButter 3 neoprene, while the arms and shoulders use TechnoButter 3X neoprene, allowing increased flexibility through high movement areas. The liner fabrics contain 90% or more recycled fibers, integrated directly into the internal construction. PLUS (+) construction adds 0.5mm extra thickness, providing increased warmth compared with the HyperFreak Comp.
Chest Zip Entry and Streamlined Seam Design
A F.U.Z.E. chest zip closure provides a secure entry system designed to maintain a close and comfortable fit. The minimal seam design reduces seam placement across the wetsuit to support flexibility and reduce restriction during movement. Seamless paddle zones further reduce seams in key areas across the upper body, helping maintain smooth arm motion and a streamlined fit.
Reinforced Seams and Water Management Features
Durability and water management features are integrated throughout the construction. TB3X fully taped seams work together with glued and blind-stitched seams to reinforce key areas and help reduce water entry. A 360 Degree barrier helps reduce water entry through the chest zip, while drain holes allow water inside the suit to escape. Aqua Alpha solvent free neoprene lamination bonds the neoprene layers without the use of harmful solvents, supporting a construction designed to maintain flexibility, warmth, and consistent comfort in the water.
