the best and most versatile tech bc

I've done many hundreds of hours with this bc and the double bladder wing, usually with twin 120's or twin 95's. I've used the stainless and aluminum backplates and find the aluminum just fine and a bit less to haul around. AT this price people should snap up a set- these are far superior to the new gen of DIR stuff that is a copy of this old school and long optimized rock solid gear.

Value for money

The later version of IQ pack is comparable to Apeks similar product. The material not as tough or as heavy duty like apeks but it is good enough for all type of diving. It is a very versatile piece of equipment. Can almost configure anyway I want. Will recommend to my divers in Singapore.

Very pleased

I was very pleased when I got the product was dropped off at my house ahead of schedule. I did as much setting it up as I could that same day. Sadly I have not been able to try the harness in the water yet due to the water being frozen.

Great System

This is the system we use at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. They hold up extremely well to the thousands of hours of bottom time we put on them every year--even with the severe discoloration from chemical exposure in the water there. This is a great system. It is very comfortable. I have a closet full of gear/B.C.'s; however, this is my primary/go-to unit. If I had to keep just one, it would be this one -- hands down...

A great piece of equipment

The versatility of this piece of equipment is undeniable. With easy it is to put on over a drysuit, and how easy it is to ajust and remove in and out of the water.

Excellent quality.

I use this IQ pack with a 32lb.wing and a single tank. Have used it in the cold midwestern lakes and quarries in my drysuit(down to 38deg.F)and also used the same set-up in Florida with a shorty wetsuit(high 80's F) without any problems whatsoever. My only recommendation is to change to rigid 'D' rings on the waist strap.

The OMS IQ Pack is a soft pack style harness offering padded shoulder webbing and an ample back pad for the best possible comfort. Adjustable shoulder strapping helps the diver in attaining best possible fit. The IQ Pack can be used with single tanks or double tanks. The IQ Pack is designed with the unique rear pocket to accommodate a back plate so it can be use with double tanks. The IQ Pack incorporates epaulets on each shoulder pad for hose routing. Harness system with (2) chest mounted D-rings, (2) waist strap D-rings and a crotch strap O-ring and multiple statically place small D-ring all made from corrosion resistant stainless steel. The waist strap is equipped with a latch style stainless steel buckle and the adjustable torso chest (sternum) and crotch straps are equipped with squeeze-style" side-release plastic buckles for easy donning and doffing. The IQ Pack is made from durable nylon webbing and padded material and comes with an owner's manual.
