Ocean Reef Quick Connect, Male Part Only

since the oceanreef full face mask has a specialized connector hose with quick disconnect, i choose to put a male quick connector on a spare (hoseless)octo which i carry in a bc pocket with a frameless sport mask. in the rare event of a mask malfunction, i simply switch to my delta 4 regulator which has been functioning as my secondary, then snap the "quick connect" octo onto the specialized hose and complete the dive with both a primary regulator and octo. i also have a clip on my bc for the ff mask so i dont it in the ocean during the emergency. the male quick connect also can be connected and used when using a sport mask instead of the ff neptune space system without the wear and tear of having to switch hoses.

Its works about as well as a QD could be expected to work. It connects and disconnects quickly. Easier than unscrewing the air hose every time. Make sure you have the QD hose that is required.
