THOMAS E : Can I use this with a  Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel?Mario C : It has a different shape options belowJOE S : it is meant to be used with a round tube snorkel. If it is oval or odd shaped then it will not fit properly.

It’s designed for a round snorkel. Might check other options that fit the oval shape you need.
Andy S : Will it work with XS Scuba 3D Flex Dry Snorkel?JOE S : it is specifically made for the Oceanic Travel Snorkel. It may fit on the XS Snorel, but it may not slide properly or lock into place properly since the travel snorkel is molded to fit.

Very secure.JOE S : It is like velcro but plastic so it does not pill or wear out.BRIAN N : It’s a Velcro like material. I’ve used it on 40 dives and it still works perfectly.RYAN J : It is very similar to Velcro. It is like a hard plastic version of Velcro. It is extremely stiff and initially it can be a challenge to snap together and remove. Over time it becomes easier.Francois L : Yes, it is a coarse plastic Velcro that connects both pieces ... I find it works well ... I use it with a foldable snorkel I keep in the BCD pocket ...when needed I take out the snorkel and press against my temple and voilà the snorkel is attached to the mask ... much easier & quicker than other snorkel attachments ... no excuse to always have a snorkel with you on your dives!Kevin L : Yes, the snorkel part attaches to the mask part with velcro. But it's the industrial mushroom head type. For me, the mushroom heads finally wore out after many, many years. The adhesive between the velcro and the plastic never came unglued. It's a good product.DAVID E : There is a Velcro-like attachment. It is not hook and loop, it is small harder plastic pieces that lock together, maybe like Scotch brand Dual Lock. Once, attached, it is very secure, but it is relatively easy to separate. My son uses one on his mask strap and likes it a lot. My mask strap is too narrow, so I use the old tuck the tube under the strap system. If you’re able to use a keeper, this will work for you.
Kim O : Can this be used with a Cressi Junior Dry Snorkel?PAUL W : I find that it is too big for smaller diameter snorkels.JEFFREY B : If the Junior Dry is a standard diameter I would say yes it would. As depicted in the picture the clip is split and you just open up the clip and put the snorkel tube in the circle. I was careful when I did it so I wouldn't break the clip. The two sides of the lock kit are attached with velcro. You just run the mask strap through the rectangular clip side and the circle around the tube. The velcro attachment is pretty cool because you can adjust the angle of the snorkel as needed.PHILLIP B : In addition to having a smaller mouthpiece, the Cressi Junior Dry Snorkel has a smaller bore (tube diameter) than other snorkels, and for this reason, the Oceanic Snorkel Lock would likely fit too loosely on this model.

Must buy for Snorkels

Excellent product, bit of pain to install the mask side, but worth the money. The locking ring expands to slip over the snorkel tube then locks back to its original size.

Under Water Rugby

Used this when we went to the Caribbean. Easy on, easy off. I didnt have to keep my snorkel attached to my mask while diving either. Highly recommend.

Looks like it will work well!

Velcro is very strong attachment indeed! I had trouble pulling it apart. The ring section is split so you can just get it around a circular snorkel, but it would NOT work right for a snorkel tube that is triangular in shape as one of mine is. The square section that fits on the mask strap requires you to take the strap off of one side of the mask completely so that it can be installed. That design makes it impossible to quickly switch to other masks. It would be an improvement to redesign the square part so that you could slip a mask strap on or off without too much folderol.

didn't fit

Ring portion that slides over snorkel tube was too large for my snorkel. I will have to adapt by using rubber band or some other way to keep snorkel tube from sliding out of the lock device.

Hard to install

The mask strap has to be taken off the mask to thread thru this keeper, which is a pain. Then it works OK with that one mask only.

Excellent snorkel holder

This snorkel keeper fits any shape snorkel and holds firmly to your mask. Easy to remove since it uses velcro technology.

A+++ For The Oceanic Snorkel Lock

I absolutely love this device. I have tried many other snorkel connectors, and all of them had the snorkel in a position that was in the way while diving. The Oceanic velcro snorkel connector is wonderful. It is easy to use and allows you to easily position the snorkel out of the way. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I have had one for three years and cannot live without it. All my friends want one as well. Thanks Oceanic!

Finer Than Forg Hair

Quick release for storage,stays put when engaged to mask,I have never had it come loose while diving or snorkling.It will rotate out of way when needed.

Not worth it.

The velcro is too stiff, making it difficult to attach the snorkel while wearing the mask and almost impossible to remove the snorkel without ripping the mask off of your head. Don't waste your money.
