Shopper : How do you untighten when it seems to be tighten too much?JOE S : if you are unable to attach the computer to the hose because the collar is screwed in the lock position, but not attached, then you have to hold the inside of the connector with something and turn the collar back to loosen it. Be cautious not to scar the inside of the QD. If this isn't the case, then please elaborate what is going on.
Denise H : Is this a quick disconnect adapter or the entire quick disconnect cable? I don't want to use the OEM cable and just need an adapter so I can put the PPX on a HP Miflex.BRENT G : It comes with a hose with the quick disconnect. You can't use a standard HP hose with the gauge. They do not have an adapter that would allow the gauge to be used with a Miflex hose.

The Oceanic's Quick Disconnect for Oceanic Pro Plus X Computer (see SKU: OCNPPX) allows you to disconnect the computer from the high pressure (HP) hose allowing you to safely store it without worrying it may get damaged when transported in your gear bag. The quick-disconnect also gives you several other advantages. You can easily pop-it" off the HP hose when you want to log dives without having to drag your entire regulator when you do. It also allows you to pack your computer in carry-on" luggage when you travel for safe keeping. It is fast and reliable.

The quick-disconnect is made from durable and corrosion resistant chrome plated brass. It has a twist-lock" style bonnet fitting that keeps it securely connected to your HP hose when pressurized, yet can disconnect quickly. The Oceanic Quick-Disconnect is Nitrox Compatible to 40% out-of-the-box.
