Too bad my old QD didn't fit my new PP3

This is a good product that would have been better if I didn't have to buy it. I upgraded from the Oceanic Veo 3.0 in a Swiv console with SPG and compass, but my new Pro Plus 3 computer wouldn't fit on my old Quick Disconnect. Good ol' LeisurePro sold me a new QD for a hefty discount, but come on, Oceanic, really? These things should be universal, at least with products by the same manufacturer. All that aside, I love how my QD lets me, uh, quickly disconnect my dive computer from my reg setup. Makes it much easier to take the DC with me to download data or just keep it safe. I highly recommend leaving it attached while rinsing it, however. I also found a little vinyl cap to slip onto the male fitting on the DC to keep it from getting dinged when I transport it.

Giving it the care and protection it needs to give you years of service is important to your enjoyment of diving. The Oceanic's Quick Disconnect for the Pro-Plus 3 Computer allows you to disconnect the computer from the high pressure (HP) hose allowing you to safely store it without worrying it may get damaged when transported in your gear bag. The quick-disconnect also gives you several other advantages. You can easily pop-it-off" the HP hose (computer) when you want to log dives without having to drag your entire regulator when you do. It also allows you to pack your computer in carry-on" luggage when you travel for safe keeping. It is fast and reliable.
