More than 300 female divers, instructors and Oceanic Dealers participated in a detailed survey to help develop the ultimate women's specific BC design. Time and time again, Oceanic heard what is lacking in today's BC's designed for women - you are looking for a BC designed to fit you, not a scaled down male BC. You are looking for a BC that is comfortable, contoured in all the right places, but one that does not sacrifice features or functionality. You want a BC that is travel friendly, yet rugged enough and packing the lift capacity required for daily local diving. And finally, you are looking for something with a little style - preferably not just big swatches of pink or purple material. You ask for it - Oceanic delivers.

Oceanic's patented custom fit harness is standard equipment on the Hera. With multi-position shoulder straps and cummerbund, the Hera delivers individual comfort for women of all shapes and sizes. The innovative design of the Hera allows the freedom of movement and other benefits you have come to expect from a rear inflation BC. However, the unique wrap around design of the air cell provides you more lift than most BC's; as well as an improved upright orientation when the BC is inflated on the surface.

The Oceanic HERA 2 provide high lift with the XS delivering 20.46 lbs. (9.3 kg) to the LG providing 40.7 lbs. (18.5 kg) of lift. This hybrid air cell BCD is built to last with a fadeless 500 denier nylon air cell and fadeless 1000 denier Cordura shoulder and pocket panels. The BCD comes with Oceanic's QLR integrated weight system and trim pockets with the QLR holding up to 20 lbs. (9 kg) of hard or soft weight and the trim pockets having a capacity of 10 lbs. (5 kg). Weight pockets are angled down slightly to aid self-loading, Oceanic's patented QLR quick lock & release system keeps weight in position and stabile throughout the dive. The Weight pouches are simple to load and easy to release when you want to. Best of all, Oceanic's patented positive lock system helps to ensure that they will stay put, the HERA 2 BCD has a padded backpack and adjustable position sternum strap that is designed for maximum comfort. The BCD has generous zippered utility pockets for all your accessory needs. 2-pre-bent welded stainless-steel D-rings on the shoulders, multiple standard D-rings, integrated instrument retractor mount (retractor not included, see SKU: OCNBCR) and Spinner Knife (see SKU: OCNKSP) mounting grommets on either the left or right, all for accessory attachment.

The Oceanic HERA 2 has torso adjustable shoulder straps. The shoulder straps, waist strap and sternum strap all come equipped with squeeze-style quick-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. The BCD also comes standard with Oceanic's patented adjustable depth compensating cummerbund. BCD comes equipped with Oceanic's Alliance Integrated Inflator. Ergonomically designed to be functional and easy to use in any dive position, the Alliance Integrated Inflator provides a full range of airway exhaust/inflation control. Simply press a button to produce precise flow for trimming dive attitude or maximum flow for major changes in buoyancy. A large exhaust valve creates a flow rate higher than the inflation rate of the power inflator, improving diver control during ascents. To add to your buoyancy, control the HERA 2 has a right back pull-ball exhaust/overpressure relief valve and tight shoulder pull ball exhaust/overpressure relief valve. The BCD is also equipped with a padded carry handle and tank positioning strap. The HERA 2 comes with a low pressure quick disconnect hose, is black in color, and includes an owner's manual.
