JOHN G : How do I find a lens protector for an Oceanic Pro Plus 2?JOE S : It is the same Lens Protector. The old lens protector for the PP2 is not available and was replaced with this version. PP2 was left off the description since the PP2 version has been discontinued for some time now.
Shopper : New Screen Protector for PP3 doesn't fit and will not stick like old screen protector did! Now what? I bought the Oceanic PP3 Screen Protector...peels up on one side!David C : If yours is like mine, it uses static cling to stick to the computer screen. Try washing it in warm soapy water. While it's air drying, clean your computer screen with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Then see if the screen protector will stick. You could have gotten a bit of sand, moisture or even skin oil on one of the surfaces, causing them to lose their adhesion.EDWARD G : I suggest that you call Oceanic customer service directly. This sounds more like a quality problem.GREG D : I've had the same problem but once I got down to 70-80 feet the problem went away with the pressure. So next time you dive make sure the film is as smooth as possible and hopefully it will stick, plus clear out the air pockets.MARY D : Try this. After removing the old protector, clean the lanse with some alcohol. Let dry completely. only remove the top portion of the paper backing of the new protector. Place it on the glass and while rubbind the cover in place slowly remove the paper while rubbing the protector all the way down the glass. Let it sit like that for a day before using you computer.JASON Q : There is a very thin film covering the adhesive side. It is practically invisible. I had to take a razors edge to seperate them. Of course, there are no instructions that specific that "minor" detail. Instructions would have been nice.

It can also be removed and reused. It is a bit thicker but very similar to that used to protect smartphone screens. Be sure to order the correct film, for the ProPlus 3 or ProPlus 2 depending on the model you have, which will minimize any need for cutting.Jerry E : Yep. ***Read This If You Are Going To Buy This***

For those of you that purchased this and lost it, it was because you didn't peel the film off of the sticky side before you attached it to your screen. There is a very thin protective film you need to remove which exposes the sticky side. After you remove that film you can apply the protector to the screen. It isn't like those stick-on reading lenses that adhere to glass with a couple drops of water and then needs to dry. It has an adhesive on one side.

Do not buy it!. Peace of shit. It is not sticking. Unfortunately original one was the same. I do not know what I am suppose to do now to keep screen off the scratches.

Doesn't fit and stick

This was a replacement for my old genuine oceanic protector. They must have found a way to cheapen it. The original one was a thin film with a tacky or sticky back that adhered well. This is a very thick piece of vinyl. It is not sticky and is suppose to adhear with static cling. Unfortunately there is a slight curve to the PP3 display and as a result this does not lay properly. It curls up around the sides On the second dive I noticed it had fallen off. As water probably got under the edges probably during the stride jump. I saw how my old protector worked well by taking the scuffs and scrapes but without one I don't know how long my screen will last.
