O'Brien Valhalla Wakeboard with Clutch Bindings ~2018 Version

For 2018 O'Brien tweaked the Valhalla to make it better than ever. Its new contouring and balanced thickness profile have taken an easy to ride board and made it even more forgiving to benefit beginner and intermediate riders. Its feather core, new thickness profile, and molded fins give the Valhalla tons of control from edge to edge making it an ultra-reliable shape. The new contouring, along with its progressive rocker and delta base, generates a smooth, controlled pop off the wake; allowing the rider to maintain control in the air and build confidence in their riding.

Like O'Brien's continuous rocker but with a more kicked up tip and tail, resulting in more vertical pop than a continuous rocker and more predictability than a 3-Stage. Built for pure boat performance! Feather core reduces the board's swing weight for more midair control, while simultaneously maintaining its profile up the face of the wake for maximum pop. Chevron" shaped channels molded into the tip and tail of the board reduce drag for faster edging and a cleaner release off the wake. All O'Brien wakeboards are equipped with industry standard 6 millimeter inserts so if TSA loses your hardware or it falls off the dock Borrow some from your buddy and keep shredding.

O'Brien's new feather core is developed to reduce weight for more control in the air and to maintain its profile up the transition of the wake for maximum boost. Built for pure boat performance. The delta base providing the same advantages as dimples on a golf ball delta base technology is evidenced by the unique tip and tail features on the base of the board. These features cause the water's surface to break much like a stone skipping across the water's surface resulting in a fast-effortless approach into the wake.

The feather core construction: Consist of a printed top sheet, super light fiberglass top layer, pored polyurethane (PU) core, super light fiberglass bottom wrap and a PBT bottom sheet. The O'Brien Valhalla Wakeboard comes in 133, 138 and 143 models. The 133 measures (L x W) 52.4" x 16.6" (133 cm 42.2 cm), has a 2.25 progressive rocker, stance of 21 23 25, and a weight limit of 80 to 160 lbs. (36.3 to 72.6 kg). The 138 measures (L x W) 54.3" x 16.8" (138 cm x 42.7 cm), has a 2.35 progressive rocker, stance of 22 24 26 and a weight limit of 130 to 210 lbs. (59 to 95.25 kg). The 143 measures (L x W) 56.3" x 17" (143 cm x 43.2 cm), has a 2.5 progressive rocker, stance of 23 25 27 and a weight limit of 165 to 250 lbs. (74.8 to 113.4 kg). The boards have a flank 1.35 fin set up.

The board comes equipped with O'Brien's Clutch Bindings that have an open toe design for more fit flexibility, free-flex tongue opens wide for easy entry and size specific construction. Bindings have Strobel lasted liner, comfort foot bed and a 2° canted chassis. The Clutch Bindings are ultra-lightweight in design and have a 5-point adjustment for a perfect fit.
