Great product, crummy size chart. Returned L and XL, waiting for XXL - ???. 5' 9", 177#, no beer belly and XL too small, could barely zip. Will buy a second vest if 2XL fits, the product is that good.

It fits tight when on dry land but stretches a lot in water. I should have downsized to the uncomfortable size 8 on land. If you are slim in waist and hips it will ride up. No toggles to tighten at hips. Could be designed better. It does what is needs to though, keep you warm in cooler water.

Great vest! I have used it for lap swimming and although it rides up a tad, it still works well. It adds a bit of warmth and some buoyancy. I ordered a size 6 and am 5?5? and 112 lbs. It is fairly snug when I first put it on but it loosens up a bit in the water. I am looking forward to using it in Hawaii for snorkeling!

From previous scuba diving wetsuits, I know it is sometime tough to figure out the size without trying them on. They need to be pretty tight but you do have to be able to zip up! I normally wear tops in a size 8 (I am 5'3 130 lbs) but I thought if I bought a 10 it might be to small so I started with a 12. Too big and too long (you could fit a whole fist under the material on top of my shoulders) but not so big that I thought I could wear an 8. The customer service ppl are fabulous and they sent me a return slip and credited me for the larger one and I bought a size 10. I think it will be perfect. The length got better too but would still work for someone taller. I like the style of zip up so easy to get on and the material is not too heavy but will give me the perfect layer for being in the water for a couple hrs. I highly recommend this company and am glad I found them.

It's a little thinner than I wanted but it would be Ok if it fit properly. The problem is if the vest is not tight in the hip area , it floats up and water gets in- hence useless. The measurements of both the bust AND the hip should be posted - we don't all have perfect proportions. For me it's useless . Otherwise spend extra bucks and get a neoprene bathing suit.

My husband and I each bought one of these (M & W models) for a 4-week snorkeling trip to the South Pacific. The water there is very warm, but after a couple of hours in the water, we get chilled anyway (we're both on the slim side). They worked very well. I wore mine under a lycra skin suit, which helped minimize the water exchange. He wore his outside his long-sleeved shirt. I believe we added hours to our ability to stay in the water and do multiple swims per day. They also blocked wind on the wet dinghy rides back to our boat. They air-dried quickly. The over-size zippers worked easily and never clogged up with dried salt water. Sizing: I exchanged my size 6 for a size 8, as the 6 was extremely tight, but I wonder if I should have kept the smaller size, as there was more water inside than I would have liked. It still worked, but I'd advise going for one that is on the tight side, without being constricting.

This vest is perfect for my annual tropical snorkeling adventures. It feels great to wear. I spend up to 2 continuous hours in the water at a time, and even in warm water, I get chilled wearing a swimsuit and nylon skin-suit. A neoprene shorty would be too much and too buoyant, so style is perfect. This takes little room in a suitcase but will add insulation to my core where it really counts. Mine is a size 8 (5'3, 118 lbs) and fits perfectly - snug but not too tight. The quality looks excellent.

I highly recommend this product. 2.5 mm thick, it keeps me warm while pool lap swimming (and water aerobics) and I don?t notice any ?drag?. I hardly notice I have it on. Bought by bust measurement and it fits perfectly. Don?t buy too large. You want it to keep the water out of armholes and waist. By way of comparison, I have been wearing NeoSport 1.5 mm long sleeve tops for years for water aerobics. It keeps me about the same temperature as the vest, but the vest is better for swimming. NeoSport products last very well with good care.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter . She will be going for her open water cert and the smallest suit we can rent doesn’t fill out her chest . So i bought this to try to fill in the gaps and keep her warm . It’s a little loose but not bad . She said it helps to keep her warm . She is very small framed .

I don't get cold until 2nd or 3rd dives of the day - or unless diving on overcast days. This is the perfect solution. Easy on/off and dries quick (if sunny). Packs easily. I bought both an XL and L even though the chart said I was a L (6'4" 215 44" chest). I thought snug is good but L is TOO snug. XL is just right. I'm curious how an XXL would fit and guessing it might be fine, too. Keeping both XL and L so I have a spare for visiting divers.

Still deciding whether or not to keep this. I am 4'11 with a petite build, but this vest still only reaches my belly button. Not exactly what I had in mind for keeping my core warm. I'm not sure why they were made so short. Might have to keep searching for the perfect scuba diving vest to wear over my wetsuit.

This zippered vest was a great find! I’m using it in my water aerobics class, as the water is a bit on the cool side in the winter months. Make sure to get a snug fit, as the vest does ride up a little when you are jumping up & down.
