This is the second pair of neosport 5mm boots I have owned. They are great, like walking in high top moccosins, but waterproof. I shoe glued two velcro straps on each to keep the leg snug, which works well for paddling and for walking. Otherwise, when immersed, the boot fills and gets loose, possibly becoming a liability in cold water capsize. Word of advice; choose one size up and use felted wool insoles to make these a comfortable and warm boot. Strongly recommend these.

I bought these to use while kayaking. They work great in cooler weather/water when you don't want to get your feet wet getting in and out of a kayak. I have used them several times with no leaks. Just what I was looking for! Very comfortable too!

My second pair .... Very good protection from cold water, except heel seams start to leak after 3-4 years.

Bought these for my husband to wear while launching the boat. He loves the way they fit and says they?re very comfortable. His feet were dry at the end of the day. He wears an 11 1/2 shoe but likes the half size larger in the boots so he can wear heavier socks.

Great boot so far have used putting my kayak in and out of the lake from y trailer and they have kept my feet dry also warm wearing during the day. I would recommend

These boots are perfect for cold water kayak launches. The price was excellent and fit is true to size. Room enough for winter wool socks, too. Good quality with very fast shipping. I purchased 2 pairs, 1 for husband-1 for myself.

These boots are a MUST for cold water kayaking. Order a size up so you can wear socks. If you fall in, the water inside the boots quickly becomes body temperature. I have had mine for 5 years and still work perfectly!

I wear a half size so it was a no brainer to get men's 8. I thought there would be plenty of room for cotton socks. No. But the polypropylene socks worked well. After reading reviews I was worried they might leak. I filled the bathtub and waded in. No leaking. But, the strap across the instep on the left boot was longer than the one on the right boot. The pad on the strap would not allow the strap to be pulled tight across the instep so the boot fit loosely. I called to see about getting a different boot but they were on back order and would not be available until after my trip. So I shortened the strap - cut a piece out between where it attached to the sole and the pad on the strap; and sewed it back together. Now it functions as designed. I used the boots three times on recent kayaking fishing trips. I wore them on the trail to the lake pulling my carted kayak and to wade into the water to launch. They worked as expected. My feet sweat in the boots so the use of polypropylene socks helped keep my feet dry. The boot absorbed the moisture so was damp in side after use. I am pleased with the boots performance and am looking forward to my canoe trip in the Quetico next week. Except for the strap issue I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend these boots.

Without a doubt, the best all around Kayak boot available. I fish out of a Hobie Outback with the Mirage Drive system where you power with your feet and legs. The problem I had is that when I wore waders and boots so that I could stop and fish a pool I had a hard time getting the wading boot in the foot strap. That problem is fixed with the Neosport Kayak boot as it is low profile and fits the strap beautifully. My only suggestion would be to buy one size larger than your shoe size to accomodate heavy socks or stocking waders. I highly recommend these boots. Alan Holcomb

I bought the boots to use in cold water lake on a canoe trip. As soon as I stepped in the water...I felt cold water in the boots...they leaked immediately. I would have returned them, but I threw the box away and Leisure Pro's return policy is must be returned in original packaging...I would definitely return them and spent a little more and got a waterproof boot with a zipper on the side, as the wet boots are difficult to take off the foot.

good for cold conditions but too hot on warm days. Bought same size as shoes I use and boots are tight when used with thin socks.

These boots keep your feet dry and warm in and out of the water. There's enough room to add a pair of warm socks if you're paddling in colder weather. I've used them a few times during day trips and I can report that they're very effective. I considered buying a more expensive pair of paddling boots, but I'm glad I made the decision to purchase these. Excellent quality, excellent choice.
