Shopper : are they waterproof?GARY B : Waterproof no. Just like a wetsuit if the water is moderately warm so will your feet as the water will circulate inside the boots yo keep them mildly warm. These are great boots for the price, highly recommend them as they are no too thick or thin and slide in and out of your fins. Just make sure the strap is not to tight or too loose.Chris G : Water will not get inside until the level you're standing in reaches the top of the shoes. According to their sizing chart, I was between a bootie size 5 and size 6. I ordered the 6, but they were huge on me. Protection and comfort

I purchased these as a backup bootie as I hate that most boots take so long to dry?..nothing worse than having to put on a cold wet pair of booties. As with the family of Neosport products, these are well made, provide the right amount of comfort and protection, and have the right amount of stretch.

Comfortable to Wear/Great foot (soles and toes) protection.

My husband loves his new boots to kayak in and to protect his feet from the rocky gravel or dirt ramps we often have to launch from. HE ordered up 1 size over his usual size 11 shoes and they fit perfectly.

Not for swimming!

I purchased these for cold open water swimming but they are impossible to kick in. Although they keep feet warm, you can forget about swimming in them.

Cut a little large, maybe a half size bigger than I'm used to.

Haven't used them yet, but they look descent. They seem to be cut a little larger than I'm used to. I usually take a size 13 1/2 work shoe and a size 14 tennis shoe, both in extra wide EE. These booties I ordered in size 14 and they are definitely 14 or better. They are a little big for me, but I'm afraid a 13 might be to tight, so I'm sticking with them.

Great for cold water

These have been great for stand-up paddle boarding in winter weather. I have used these with wool socks down to 10 degrees F, with the boots fully soaked, and still plenty warm for 2-3 hours. Good quality zipper. No issues.

Good dive boot

the boot is great but the sizing on the charts in not accurate for this one. the boot is a little less that one size smaller than the chart suggested. i called and was told they run small for woment (I bought this for my wife)
