The Wavelight is a awesome and we'll appreciated addition to my gear. Feels like I'm wearing a mother's hug all day long! The Wavelight is warm, super comfortable and worth it's weight in gold.

This suit fit my needs to a "T". So comfortable it can be worn all day. I use it as a layer under a dry suit when paddling.

I use this under a dry suit and can stay warm down to 50 degrees- any colder and I add another layer. I bought the large and I am 6'0 and 185 lbs- the fit is tight especially across the mid section. Lengthwise it is ok, so I did not size up to the XL. Two way zipper works well for when nature calls. Being one piece is really a plus as it won't bunch up anywhere. If you need a base layer, you cannot go wrong with this.

As an undergarment to my drysuit. It sized a bit smaller than I expected, but still fit OK. It stretches, so that works out OK. It's very comfy, and while boating a 45 degree river on a 35 degree day, I actually had to dunk myself a few times to cool off. That leads to: If you sweat in it, you'll smell it. On the other hand that all dries real quick, so it's tolerable to wear it home so you can keep it on at the takeout.

So far, it's magnificent. Warmth without bulk; breathable, fairly quick-drying. Very, very comfortable. Initially, it feels a tad tight but after it's on for a few minutes and with some movement it loosens up nicely and feels true to size. I am 5'10.5 inches and about 183lbs; I purchased size: Large. I cannot yet speak to its durability but it looks the business.

my wife bought these for me for our anniversary. didnt know a "fleece" union suit even existed. this is my favorite piece of cold weather gear. long days standing in waist deep water when the temp is 25 degrees. wading thru waist deep water breaking ice to put out 100 decoys 2 hours before sunrise. NO PROBLEM!!I've told everyone I know about these. LOVE 'EM!! Very comfortable. fit perfect.

Purchased for under-layer for my drysuit. Warm, fits well, easy to put on and take off. The zipper is high quality and zips two ways - great for an easy bathroom break. The only issue I have with this suit is that when I zip it all the way up, the zipper bulge digs into my neck/throat. I usually keep it zipped down a couple of inches to avoid the irritation. The union suit is a great addition to my drysuit. Not as cumbersome as multiple layers that can move and bunch up as the day progress. WW SUP/Surfing throws you around a lot and this stays put. If the zipper issue was not an issue, I would have given this 5 stars.

I was worried about the sizing since I usually go with Large but X-Lg was recommended by the chart and it was dead on. I am 5'11" and 200 lbs. I use this suit under my NRS Aegis Drysuit when kayaking in the cold. I have immersed my whole body into 40 degree water and found it very tolerable with only this suit under the drysuit. Of coarse I would recommend more layering for colder temps in the 30's. I have used this a couple times under my Aegis Drysuit and it was all I needed for 40-50 degrees air temp and water in the 40's. I could have gone out in 30 degree temp range since I was plenty warm in the high 40's along with 10-15 mph winds. The Aegis drysuit I use is nonbreathable so thank God this suit did a great job wicking away body moisture.

I own all the competitors suits as well and this one is by far the best and most versatile. I bought it 3 years ago for whitewater canoeing here in the Rockies and ended up using it for downhill skiing as well. It is also great as base layer in winter construction work! Not really more expensive than good long johns and long base shirt- but without the potential cold spot on your back. The first one I bought got used and washed about 100 times during its first year. Only sign of wear and tear was a lose thread on a shoulder seam. No big deal. I find the sizing perfect. I am 5.6 , 32 waist, 30 inseam at 145 lbs. Only thing I've learned to pay attention to is the two way zipper when taking a leak: inside flap could be a bit wider for safety reasons if you know what I mean....

Great product! NRS got the dimensions right everywhere. Getting up there in the years having entered my third quarter, that region around the kidneys where your top and bottom lets in the cold needed addressing. This union suit will keep you warm but not struggling with a baggy lower end or a strangling neckline. The arms and legs are long enough to provide cover but not so long as to get in the way of your drysuit latex cuffs. Whether sitting in a kayak, on the deck of a sailboat or trudging up a snowy incline, this suit has the fit.

As with many NRS items I found this item too small in the chest and too large from the waist down. For reference I am a 5' 10", 177 lb male with a 43 inch chest and a 33 inch waist. A large should be just right but I have had to size up to an XL for the upper body. From the waist down, the garment is too big, but that is not too important under dry wear. In terms of function, it's great.

Love the union suit! It's the perfect layer for under my drysuit, and often all I need under it. The fabric pilled a little bit when it was new, but then I started turning it inside out to wash/dry it, and hasn't been and issue since. Also, It does run a little small. I typically am between a M and L, and glad I sized up with this item.
