Tarnished when used in salt water, and the gate got a little glitchy, even though they got a fresh water rinse afterwards. It seemed like if I continued to use them they would eventually become inoperative. I found another use for them. Other than that seems like a robust product.

I am using in a no traditional manner. I am using it as a grip point on the seat belt of my motorized wheelchair, it worked on perfectly and was very easy for to install.
