It's a great idea to have a dedicated box, with specially designed spaces for your lenses. However, the carve outs are a tight squeeze for pro lenses. I'd still purchase it, but it doesn't hold everything the way I envisioned.

This case provides a secure and safe travel case for longer zoom type lenses when traveling. The ability to to secure the case with flight locks secures the content from tampering and prevents the case from opening during flights while in luggage compartment of an aircraft.

I was getting tired of lugging my heavy camera backpack through airports, and had been eyeing out a hard rolling case for ages. It boiled down to this case, and the other popular brand. I was just about to pull the trigger on the other one when I met up with my friend, and saw he had a smaller Nanuk. After checking it out I was sold and decided to go for the 935, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This thing is BUILT SOLID. I love the latches and the telescoping handle, and how the handles all tuck down. Zero buyers remorse. It's worth every penny. I'm planning on getting a second one soon for my drone.

Always struggled to decide which camera to take on a trip but now I can take a selection to cover many situations. Only feedback I have, I think locks should be standard on all larger travel cases, not optional. Thanks for designing and building a great product.

Prior to getting this case, I was using an Apache roller case with some DIY TrekPak. It was fine for day-to-day, but I never felt confident that my GFX50s and lenses were truly safe in there. I had a flight coming up and wanted to be sure that if the gate agents made me gate check my case, that it'd be one I could feel confident going under the plane. This is the one. I finally feel like my kit has a proper place, and feel much better about the idea that it may end up under the plane because Nanuk locking latches are the jam. The lid organizer is great too! I keep a 16"MBP in there with no problems.

The Nanuk 950 camera case is exactly what I needed. I can move my gear around easily and store all I need for a shoot in one package. I love the lid organizer and the many ways the storage can be organized. The main thing is I feel like my gear is safe during transport.

I am a recent convert to Nanuk and bought this case to go with 2 x Nanuk drone cases, 2 x 935s and a 938 (All with padded dividers and lid organizers). I am a cinematographer / photographer and bought these cases to update from some 15-20 year old pelican cases some of which were very well travelled. Keeping your kit safe as well as looking professional definitely matters and these cases definitely look great. Went for a mix of black and grey cases. Black for rigging stuff like magic arms, floor stands, super clamps, accessories etc, grey for camera equipment, drones and accessories. The 935 looks better than high end carry on in my opinion. We could do with a feather weight version made of some super inventive light strong material, for folks that want to keep essential kit with them on a flight. The 7KG limit is a real thing in countries outside the US where it seems to be ok to take a house on board :-). The design of these cased is great so good marks there. The extra thought that has gone into the locking mechanism, and the TSA option are smart solutions for anyone who travels with these cases. The lid organizers are well thought out and look solid, I ordered most cases with one. Nice work. These have not been on a flight yet so I am not sure if they will be looking so great after a few years (I'll get back to you on that). Overall, happy with the change to a more modern design set of cases. The real test is in the next few years they hit the road some more. Keep innovating. Steve

I ordered the Nanuk 940 with the top zippered compartments and camera dividers because I tired of hauling in multiple bags and tripods to venues for photography and videography. Now between this case, a large rolling suitcase, and my backpack, I can make it in with one or occasionally two trips. I was able to consolidate 4 bags worth of equipment into this one case and a couple extra things i wanted to bring before but didn't have room for, and i would feel comfortable checking this case for flight. The customizableness is perfect for me since each job has unique requirements and it's a simple matter to adjust the spots to fit an endless configuration of gear. I wish I had ordered it sooner. The downside is that full in its current configuration, it weighs 33 lbs, so I'm glad it works so well with the rolling bag. While not a ridiculous weight, it is something I think about because I'm not always the one to carry it. I'm also very glad I decided on the deeper model than the 930, because lenses and all can stand upright yielding a ton more room than if they had to lay flat. Best gear decision I made last year and a great Black Friday deal.

I wanted the 933 5 up case with 9.5" height since my 935 6 up is only 7.5 high and compresses full size pistols w optics too much....but they are sold out always. So I went to the 938 with 11.5 inches height. Basically it feels "weaker" than my 935 and is just not very attractive case in black (only other is red/yellow!). So, actually dislike my purchase.

I am very happy with this product. It holds the 6 handguns and large locks PERFECT! I have a couple extra mags for each gun. But I was a little disappointed when there was only slots for 10 extra magazines not 12. Yes a little OCD I like them all together.

I needed the case for flying road trips to fix airplanes. The case holds my tools well and I recently added TSA locks to it. Great case so far, but I've only had it a few weeks. Time will tell for the longevity of it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a durable case.

For me, the 935 is perfect for travel - a great balance of size and weight. The external dimensions match the carry-on limits of my preferred airline carriers. A surprising amount of gear will fit inside, including a small laptop in the organizer sleeve. The case is solid; I had no concerns whatsoever about the protection of my camera equipment against weather or wear during a recent 3 week trip. I'm glad that I chose the adjustable padded compartments over the precut foam. I believe it's better suited for the dynamics of travel (e.g., when you need to go in and out of the case with a lens attached). Lastly, the carrying strap that Nanuk sells is heavy duty and super helpful for when I was unable to use the wheels.

Soft cammy bags are terrific for schprotzering around as well as a specific job hung off ones shoulder: they don't transport well and do not offer real protection. I've been schlepping camera gear for my entire life, since I was six years of age. A soft cammy bag is good for the days shoot, but you got to get everything to the location. in my case that's "BFE". Years ago these things were called ATA rated cases and there was no such thing as roto molded. "Thermodyne" used to make blow molded cases for video cammys, similar idea to what available from you...As a matter of fact, the cammy was delivered with the case and a foam cut out for the gear... imagine that? Back then it was'nt a $300.00 option. You have a great case, but stupidly expensive. Only professionals who know the difference pony up the cash. I was the one who told K&H Portabrace to make SLR cammy bags: that's before there was such a thing as a DSLR. They still don't have it right; you on the other hand have it right. Good product, go to B&H Photo in NYC and make a sales pitch, it would be good for you. Lower your prices.
