Mustang Survival M.I.T. 100 Inflatable PFD:
A premium product the M.I.T. 100 was designed with style. This easy to wear and easy to use inflatable personal floatation device (PFD) features membrane inflatable technology inside to reduce product weight and create a lighter and more flexible fit. This inflatable PFD is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) for use as a Type III Personal Flotation Device Type V (Commercial Use) PFD. It is not approved for water skiing or other high impact, high-speed activities.

The M.I.T. 100 is easy to inflate in an emergency. The PFD has a replaceable 24 g CO2 cylinder that when activated by pulling the bright yellow detonator pull tab will fully-inflate the PFD within 5 seconds providing 26 lbs. (11.8 kg) of buoyancy for typical boating activates. The buoyancy provided by the PFD is more than 1.5 times the buoyancy of most foam PFDs. The M.I.T. 100 PFD is equipped with an inflator inspection window and easy access flap for added safety and convenience. The PFD can also be orally-inflated in non-emergency situations with the oral inflation tube.

The M.I.T. 100 PFD is built-to-last with a durable 500-Denier Cordura outer shell and strong 2" (5.1 cm) polypropylene waist strap and harness. The waist strap comes equipped with a squeeze style" quick release buckle for a perfect fit. Easy to stow with a 1-fold repack design. This PFD is designed for chest sizes from 30" to 52" (76 to 132 cm) and people weighing 80 lbs. (36 kg) or over. PFD weighs 1.4 lbs. (635 g) and comes with an owner's manual.

Incredibly easy to use, the Rescue Stick provides rapid flotation assistance to a person at risk of drowning. Simply remove the baton shaped Rescue Stick from its waterproof bag and throw near the person. Once contact is made with the water it inflates-in-seconds to a large horseshoe shape keeping the victim afloat and their head above the water until help arrives.

Measuring only 14" (35.6 cm) in length and weighing 15.5 oz. (439.42 g), the Rescue Stick is the most versatile rescue flotation device available. The Rescue Stick can be accurately thrown, 100' (30 meters) or further and when Inflated provides 35 lbs. (15.9 kg) buoyancy. The Rescue Stick is an invaluable tool for police officers arriving first on scene to provide emergency flotation when no water rescue gear is available. During a swift water rescue, fire departments can throw the Rescue Stick to the victim to keep them afloat while a rescue plan is put into action. Lifeguards can easily throw the Rescue Stick to someone in trouble to keep their head above water until rescued. Recreational boaters can throw the Rescue Stick to a man overboard while maneuvering to get them out of the water.

Mustang Survival MRD075 Throw Bag:
The Mustang Survival Throw Bag is an essential part of the water rescue kit and a valuable tool for those first responders who have arrived at a water emergency. The Throw Bag is used after the victim has been stabilized with a flotation device. It is compact, lightweight, durable and easy-to-use. Throw Bag has a 75' (22.9 meter) long x 0.355" (9 mm) diameter multi-filament polypropylene rope. The Throw Bag has a mesh top for quick drainage and drying, retro-reflective tape and light stick holder for easy identification day or night. Throw Bag is also equipped with a quick-release buckle system.

For protection and proper storage of the Water Rescue Kit items the kit comes in a customized heavy-duty drop tested impact resistant, air-and-water tight protective case. This case meets Military, ATA and Federal specifications. Case is bright yellow in color for easy identification. The kit also includes desiccant for superior moisture control inside the case when in storage.
