I accidentally bought the wrong rearming kit didn't open it but I can't return it according to your website. If it's unopened it should be returnable. End of statement no questions asked. There is no law against it.

Short life

Easy plug and play refill. Ordered in February 2024 and recieved a refill that is good until the end of 2027. Sad for the price of a refill. I found replacements at Cabelas with 2027 expiration so I ordered straight from the source to not experience the loss of 2 years.

I have had a Mustang 5183 vest since 2015. I was checking my vest and saw the expirations was way past due. I ordered this kit and the replacement went easy. I checked the auto inflation of the module I took out of the vest. The auto inflation did not work, but the pull release worked. Glad I have updated and am ready to get back to the water. Check your gear.

The Auto Hydrostatic Re-Arm Kit contains everything necessary to rearm your Mustang Survival Auto Hydrostatic inflatable PFD after deployment. Use only Mustang Survival rearm kits. Use of other re-arm kits may result in improper operation or failure to operate and will void the product's warranty. Regular maintenance can reduce the possibility of inadvertent inflation. Refer to your owner's manual for maintenance schedule. The Auto Hydrostatic inflator cap and body should be replaced before the expiry date on the cap passes. Contains an Auto Hydrostatic Inflator, which includes: One 24-gram CO2 cylinder/inflator body, inflator cap with metal pull handle, metal key and re-arming manual. Kit is compatible with inflatable PFD model numbers: MD5183, MD5183 BC, MD5183 KF, MD5153, MD5153 BC, MD5153 KF (see SKU's: MSTM5183BC and MSTMD5183).
