The MD3184-02 Mustang Survival Inflatable PFD delivers an impressive 35 lbs. (15.88 kg) of buoyancy when inflated. It features a clear status indicator window, with green signaling that it's ready for action. The inflation cylinder (33 g CO2) is smartly housed inside the bladder to protect against corrosion, and the PFD itself is crafted from robust 420-denier nylon and heavy-duty polyurethane coated nylon. For added safety, the PFD includes a strobe light holder, safety whistle, and SOLAS reflective tape on the bladder.
Additional features include a backup oral inflation tube for manual inflation, a D-ring for kill-switch attachment, and two sturdy stainless steel D-rings for use with tethers. Proudly approved by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) as a Type V Personal Flotation Device, the PFD is shipped with a comprehensive owner's manual.
