THOMAS L : Hello, will this knife attach to a Mares Bolt BCD?Corey G : I have the Dragon SLS and it works perfectly. In looking at the Bolt it does appear the wholes on the left hand side are for this use to securely fasten the screws as part of the sheath to that. Worse case, get it and try and if it doesn't work send back. I woudl be surprised it wouldn't work as it's a Mares on Mares product. But alternative option is to use zip ties to secure the sheath through the holes which I have done in the past before finding the Mares product. Great knife though overall! BRENT T : Will this fit the Mares Pegasus?Mario C : It should. Do not have the Pegasus to confirm it, but Mares BCD knives are supposed to fit all Mares BCDs with knife grommets like the Pegasus.
Ervin K : I have a Mares Prestige BCD, will the Force Nano fit the mounting holes?David F : I believe so. its made for a Mares BCD. Should fit the holes perfectly.
Shopper : What is the center to center distance of the mounting knob holes in the sheath? I have a Zeagle Halo BCD and I want to know if it fits in the existing BCD holes.KEVIN F : Unfortunately, this won't fit. The attachment holes are too far apart for the Zeagle Halo. The mounting holes for this knife are 3 3/4" apart.
Shopper : Lot of reports out there that this Mares knife falls out of the sheath after a few dives. Has this issue been addressed?MARY C : I have no issues with this knife and have well over 20 dives with it. I have had the knife since December of 2015.ERIC A : Yes, I lost my first Nano on a shore dive in Bonaire. So far so good on the new one.BRET S : Haven't had any problems or complaints. I've pulled it out and used a few times over the course of 9 dives so far. I like it.John S : I have never experienced a problem with my dive knife falling out of the sheath.Once it is locked in it stays in place. I have over 30 dives with this knife.JOSE ALONSO L : I had for 1 year doing Backward Roll Entry without problems, however it went lost with a Giant Stride Entry. This Compact Knife by Mares is ideal for any situation. A series of standard accessories makes it easy to fasten the knife to Mares BCs, bags, diver and hoses. The soft over-molding hand grip for a secure hold and ease of use. The knife handle also is equipped with a hole for attachment of a wrist lanyard. The 2.56" (65mm) stainless steel blade with built-in line cutter is covered in a special PVD treatment that prevents the blade surface from oxidizing.

Mares Force NANO Plus BCD Knife has a partially serrated edge and a blunt tip for multi-tool function. Knife comes equipped with a noncorrosive impact resistant plastic sheath. Mounting options included with the knife are two leg straps with quick-release buckles, two, hose laces and BC mounting knobs.
