This environmentally sealed design prevents contaminants like salt, sand, and chlorine from affecting the internal mechanism, ensuring optimal regulator performance.

Utilizing A.C.T. Advanced Coating Technology, the Dual 15X valve offers enhanced durability - 600% more than its predecessor. The valve features a hard Polyurethane (PU) coating with a soft PU sealing surface for a perfect seal.

The first stage is also equipped with Dynamic Flow Control (DFC), minimizing intermediate pressure drops and providing stable air flow even in extreme conditions. It comes with four 3/8" LP ports and two 7/16" HP ports for attachment of pressure gauges or air-integrated consoles.

The techno-polymer Mares Dual Second Stage has an oversized silicone purge button for easy use. Featuring patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD), it allows for sensitive and effortless breathing at all depths. The compact exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece offers comfort and a secure fit, reducing jaw fatigue during long dives.

The Superflex hose, developed after extensive research, is lightweight, soft, and allows for maximum freedom of movement. The regulator comes with a 31.5" (80cm) Superflex hose, and the total weight is 38.3 oz. (1,085 g) with the hose. This medium-sized octopus made of techno-polymer features a cover made of soft material so that the oversized purge button is easy to push. With a VAD system and Fluid Dynamic Deflector it offers natural, effortless breathing. The VAD - Vortex Assisted Design air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. Fluid Dynamic Deflector receives and properly directs the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Mesh grid a patented design which reduces the impact of water flow onto the second stage diaphragm, thus eliminating free flows even in strong currents.

The regulator second stage octopus with its ultralight techno-polymer construction is abrasion resistant and affordable, ideal for diving in warm and moderate water temperatures. The bright yellow purge cover design makes for easy identification in an emergency out-of-air-situation. The Rover Octopus includes a hose protector and comes standard with a 39" (100cm) yellow rubber hose that further aids in the safe-seconds identification. Regulator weighs 13.6 oz. (385 g) with the hose. Regulator is Nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out-of-the-box.
