Shopper : Is this a carbon steel shaft?JEFFREY H : According to the Mnfr, it is (plated) steel, i would say stainless as i have had some of them over 5 years and they have not rusted. Be advised, the shaft itself is fairly bendable, when i first got the gun i shot a spear into a tree (just to test) and pulled it out, it was slightly bent.....Hope this helps you !!!

Good replacement for Mares Cyrano

Need this shaft to replace stock one with Tahitian tip. Much better gun with JBL double tip.

wrong shaft

I ordered a shaft for my Mares Spark 700 and what I received was a shaft for a Cyrano 1100 which is about foot longer.
