I gotta say, this is an excellent quality bag. It is very well made, roomy for a big guy's gear (XL BCD, XL fins, XXL wetsuit), and made smart too. I have been looking for a bag like this for years.

This was even better-built than I thought! It is extremely robust and worked great on an international dive trip where I dove in three countries in one week. It easily holds two sets of mask, fins, snorkel, towels, it would hold two full scuba sets but might be a challenge to carry! Love the backpack straps and wide top opening. The side pocket is plenty big for computers, cameras, dive logs, etc.

The bag is roomy enough for all my dive gear, plus some space to hold a wetsuit if it was rolled up tightly. Bag seems to be high quality, as you would expect from Mares.

Nice bag, it holds all of my dive gear, 2 piece wetsuit included. The small pouch on front of the bag is just a little small for a regulator set up but it will fit if you pack it tight, which I do have flex hoses on my setup

It seems to be very well built. It has some type of rubber coating on it that really beefs it up. I've used it a few time on boat dives and it does great. Taking it to the carriban next.

I'm a 5'6" athletic female and it was much too large for me to carry on my back. I returned it, but can attest to the quality and mega size that would be nice (if that's what you're into)

Great bag. It's big enough for lots of stuff. Made well. Great soft straps. I wanted a roller bag, but I find this backpack style bag much better.

Seems decently durable for a less expensive dive bag. It's still somewhat bulky in a suitcase, but otherwise good for travel. The front pocket is too small for my regulator and I have a fairly standard aqualung regulator with just the basic computer and octopus. It's not all that well padded either. I used it for my mask and other small stuff. There is an oddly shaped pouch by the backpack straps that is water resistant, it worked to roll my towel in a sausage and stick it in there for after the dive. I have an xl-sized BCD and large split fins and both fit in the main compartment fine.

I have used this new bag for several trips now and daily for about 15 Boat Dives. It is well made! The bag shoulder straps are great, making getting on and off of boats simple and in one trip with all your stuff. Wish the outside bag was removable, but that's not a big deal. I really like this Bag/Pack.

fits everything you need for scuba and then some. bcd, reg, fins, mask, boots, gloves, etc. even has an dry pouch built in for change of clothes. i carry my weights in a bag on the side. ideal for small transit to your car or storage. not the most comfortable when maxed out. my only gripe with this bag is the draw string does not fully close with more items.

We travel to various cities using the Mares Roll around suitcase and then put our dive stuff in hear when we head to the dive boat. The mesh is great. We have done 20 + dives each (four family members all using them) and they show zero wear, still look brand new. We pack all gear (BCD, Regulator in a Mares Reg Bag, fins, towels, Wet suit, mask, snorkel, camera, flashlights, computers) and still have plenty of room to spare!

I purchased this dive bag to store my current dive gear (bcd, mask, fins, wetsuit, gloves, hood, towel, shampoo/conditioner) and carry it from the boat to the trailer. So far it's held up nicely. I love the padded straps (if you're looking for a dive backpack, definitely invest in one with padded straps) and the mesh lining seems quite durable. This backpack can also fit a lot of gear-the gear I have fits easily with room to spare for extra personal belongings. Although I do not yet have regulators, these would definitely fit in the backpack without a problem though they might be a tight fit in the front storage compartment. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, and for the price you can't beat it.

Big enough for me and my two sons to put all our gear except for bc's. Holds mask, snorkels, fins, booties, regs, wetsuits for 3 people! Makes getting on and off dive boats real easy.

This is the perfect size bag to haul my large BC, reg set, wetsuit, hood, booties, gloves, long-esh fins, snorkel, and mask. I don't like to put my reg set into the outside pouch since my computer is attached to it, rather leave the pouch for smaller items. The bottom is heavy duty. It collapses down reasonably well. I believe this has the right amount of ruggedness vs weight for most applications. However, I am very careful with placing metal things in the bag, especially my large BC tank strap buckle, that could potentially tear it up. I try to keep things like this towards the inside or tucked inside something else. A little care like this will make it last a long time. The backpack straps and carry handles are good.

Great bag bought it for my GF who is new to diving and she absolutly loves this bag, fits all her gear perfectly, folds up nice once on the boat and very comfortable to wear when leaving the boat after a day of diving. Front pocket is perfect for the regulator and octo combo. Great, sturdy, tough bag !!!

I ordered this bag for a trip to Hawaii. I was able to carry my free dive gear, my girlfriends snorkel gear, 2 beach towels, and food/water. There was still room to spare. This bag is large and fulfilled all my needs during my trip. Solid construction and well thought out design for any dive trip.

I previously had a much lighter Akona mesh bag and my 6lb backplate ended up doing it in. From a first inspection this bag is much sturdier and has lasted 3 dive trips so far without any sign of tears.

Easy to use, wear, wash and dry. Seems real sturdy even with my 14 pounds of weights in the bottom. Outside pouch is supposed to be for reg+octo I think but can't really get mine in there and is oversized as an exterior pocket. Better too big than too small I guess. Love the backpack instead of bag - easy to schlep around for sure.

I have used this to carry several sets of snorkel gear and my full set of scuba gear. It holds my complete set of scuba gear including wet suit. The zipper feature is really helpful and the outside zipper bag is really useful for small items.
