The Atlas ADJ 62X scuba diving regulator features an all-metal second stage to provide high performance in cold water and deep diving. This regulator will meet the expectations of even the most demanding divers.
62X First Stage
The 62X first stage is made with a chrome "pearl" finish. This makes it highly resistant to abrasion, while offering a unique, elegant appearance. Comes standard with Mares Auto-Sealing Technology (AST). The AST system is automatically activated by air flow without any mechanical solution for maximum reliability, creating anti-flooding protection that keeps the first stage dry in all conditions.
The 62X first stage features pre-oriented low pressure (LP) and high pressure (HP) ports. All low pressure (LP) ports offer Mares' patented Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) for high, consistent airflow at all depths.
Atlas ADJ Second Stage
The Atlas ADJ second stage is made with all-metal technology featuring a Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) and a Pneumatic Assisted Design (PAD) system which offers comfortable, effortless breathing in every situation. Also, it features a side adjustment knob that allows the diver to control breathing effort based on your needs. This second stage features a large, user-friendly purge button for easy use, even while wearing thick gloves.
DFC - Dynamic Flow Control
Minimizes intermediate pressure drop during inhalation thus maximizing gas delivery, especially under extreme conditions.
VAD - Vortex Assisted Design
The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
All Metal Technology
Outstanding mechanical resistance and high thermal conductivity make there metal 2nd stages extremely long lasting and ideal for cold water dives. The high thermal conductivity of metal reduces the dry mouth feeling during the dive.
Superflex Hose
Extreme light weight and exceptional softness guarantee the maximum freedom of movement.
