Shopper : How do these hold up in currents?ENID T : I don't own these fins. I have the Mares Avanti Quattro +.Mario C : It is efficient for its size. would recommend as a light weight travel snorkel / easy current scuba fin.ALYSSA A : I would not recommend these for currents. For anything stronger than snorkeling or light surface swimmingly, they break. I used mine on fewer than 6 light-current open ocean dives before the strap snaps fell off. I ended up returning them because within 15 dives all of the pieces had fallen off.

The exciting Avanti Pure offers a comfortable foot pocket - it can even be used barefoot - with an ergonomic heel pad for reduced pressure on the heel and special bungee strap for perfect positioning and ease of use. With added channel thrust power. A two-material open heel design made from thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) and Tecralene. Soft and comfortable foot pocket and ergonomic heel pad (patent pending) minimizes pressure on the Achilles' tendon. Special bungee strap for maximum comfort during use, when donning and doffing. Strap has bungee guides, so the strap is always placed in the right position. The fin blade is 12.6" (32cm) in length, has an 85.2" square inch (550 square centimeters) blade thrust area, weigh 22.4 oz. (635 g) size M/L and is available in multiple sizes.
