Must have

If you use a dry suit, something to clean and lubricate your zipper(s) is a must. It also works very well on wet suit zippers. I use this occasionally and use zip tech frequently

Liquid to solid.

Product goes on easily with the consistency of dish soap but turns to a more solid consistency over time and use of dry suit zipper in cold weather. It surprised me that after using my dry suit I found little flakes of waxy material shedding off the zipper. Maybe it was so cold, or maybe it just coats really well and flakes off after movement across the surface of the plastic zipper. Very happy it is keeping my entry zipper and relief zipper from leaking.

Zippers need TLC

I've been using McNett products since the 70's. Their stuff is always among the best. ZipCare is no exception and, I consider it an essential part of my gear maintenance program. I push my gear hard. I don't want to push to the breaking point... Zippers are a liability, I meant to say convenience, in the field that should be treated well to postpone the inevitable failure. A broken zipper on a tent fly in a heavy rain/wind storm is a situation to be avoided.

My PFD was just about useless because of use in salt water - no zip to the zipper. Now it's fully operational.

Works great, but wipe off excess

Truly helps zipper action, but when 'applying liberally' it is easy to get on drysuit material, which causes stains. Just be sure to wipe off what is left over after working the zipper repeatedly, as per instructions. Excess gel can dry and create its own minor jams. Tube has brush which works great to clean zipper before use as well as between uses.

Good Product

It has rejuvenated several zippers I have on various outdoor equipment and the zippers seem maintain their improved functionality, even after use. Overall, I have been happy with this product. The brush incorporated into the bottle cap is a little hokey, and I store mine in a ziploc baggie since the brush is a little messy after use.
