About Gear Aid Akua Blunt Tip Knife
Whether you're diving the reefs or paddling the river, the Gear Aid Akua rescue knife attaches easily and securely to your PFD, boat deck, or BCD. When the situation arises, quickly release the knife, and cut your way free with the serrated blade, or notify your dive partner with the rounded tank banger. The blunt tip won't puncture inflatables and works as a pry tip for digging into some shellfish. The 5Cr15-stainless-steel with titanium finish and blunt tip blade make it ideal for adventures with inflatables. The blade is equipped with a partial serrated edge with a line cutter and the opposite side has a full straight edge design.
Quick drain sheath mounts virtually anywhere with the removable belt clip, 1" (2.5cm) webbing mount, and lanyard holes. Get immediate access to your knife with the quick release sheath, simply press the thumb tab. Full tang blade with bottle opener and rounded end. Knife has a 3.09" (7.85cm) blade length, with an overall length (in sheath) of 8" (20.3cm), is 0.12" (3mm) thick and comes with an acetal plastic handle in multiple color choices. The sheath is also made from acetal and has a stainless-steel belt clip. The knife weighs 3.8 oz. (107.7 g) and with the sheath weighs 5.7 oz. (161.6 g).
