You would not be able to remove the battery from this light.Christina P : Yes, it has a rechargeable battery inside. It isn’t supposed to be removed. You recharge the light with the included charger. I believe there is a different model that runs on batteries.

Didn't last a weekend

This is one amazing light when it is working. After a few dives my light quit working. I tried to recharge it but that did nothing. I decided to open it up and see if I could see a problem and that is when I found water. Dried it out overnight and it worked the next morning, for 1 dive. Returned to Leisure Pro and they refunded my money. I think this light would do better with 2 O-rings that are pre-coated with silicone to seal the cap.

Really powerful, lightweight and compact!!

I don't think there has ever been a more beautifully designed dive light. Its really compact and super powerful! LED quality is excellent and the Spot/Flood option is perfect for any type of diving. I've used this light for spear fishing, fun dives, and photography. The slider mechanism is also very intuitive so its easy to turn on and off and change outputs. The provided handstrap was also very comfortable. Highly recommended

I don't think there has ever been a more beautifully designed dive light. Its really compact and super powerful! LED quality is excellent and the Spot/Flood option is perfect for any type of diving. I've used this light for spear fishing, fun dives, and photography. The slider mechanism is also very intuitive so its easy to turn on and off and change outputs. The provided handstrap was also very comfortable. Highly recommended

The Dive 2000 S/F features a powerful dual beam design with 2000 lumens in a 60-Degree Flood and a 600 lumen 12 Degree Spot beam ideal for wide-angle reef illumination and illuminating crevices and overhangs. Light is certified to the FL-1 Standard. Regulated output eliminates dimming during use. A powerful LED array using the best CREE LEDs and enhanced firmware. The battery compartment is completely sealed, and a thick ring around the base of the light head protects the contacts. The light provides 2000 lumens of brightness in high-mode, 1000 lumens in med-mode and 500 lumens in low-mode in 60-Degree Flood beam mode. The light provides 600 lumens of brightness in high-mode, 300 lumens in med-mode and 150 lumens in low-mode in 12 Degree Spot beam mode. The light has a burn time of 60-Degree Flood/12 Degree Spot: 55/110-muintes in high-mode, 110/220-muintes of burn time in med-mode and 220/440-muintes of burn time in low-mode.
