About Lifeguard Contingency Strap for Back-Up Diver
Used to clip a back-up diver's harness to another diver's tether, allowing the diver to follow the line and assist a diver in need. By being clipped to the tether, the back-up diver will not lose the line when hands are needed for equalization or equipment adjustment.
Noncorrosive plastic side-release buckle allows the back-up diver to detach if necessary. Strap is made from durable nylon webbing with bar tacking of buckles and metal ring. A carabineer Allows easy attachment of contingency strap when needed.
