Frankie H : Does it come with any tip besides a three prong tip?JOSEPH P : Hi Frankie - I own the three piece model, which does include a "rock tip" along with the 3-prong paralyzer. I think for whatever reason JBL does not include the rock tip with the two piece. Regardless, if you plan on spearing anything larger than a "jumbo shrimp" I would recommend adding a slip tip to your arsenal - JBL makes some very good ones. I can tell you that I am very satisfied with my polespear - I've owned for several years, and use many times each year. The anodizing is top quality as are the materials - holding up perfectly so far. Hope this was helpful. Happy shopping. RobCARLTON C : sorry three-piece comes with bullet tip. Pretty sure, if not though bullet tips are only 5-6 dollars a piece.ADAM H : No, This package does not come with another tip, although you can purchase several others. Pure spear fishing

I have been spoiled for years now, using only spearguns, it is sweet to be back where it all started for me. I still have my tired old fiberglass polespear from highschool, the JBL is much nicer and compact for travel.The end plug is the only sore spot it is hard to remove. I put some grip tape around the end to help with holding the spear while removing the plug.

The gold standard in pole spears, JBL's one-piece models is drawn 6063, annealed aluminum and is hard gold anodized for extra rigidity. The end result: maximum energy transfer with virtually no flex. The JBL machine-swage each spear for enhanced hydrodynamics. This provides greater speed with minimal water disruption. The Travel pole spears (two and three piece) feature precision machined unions for seamless fit and feel and allow for infinite extendibility. The Sling length is fully adjustable and the stainless steel threaded tip will accept any 6mm point.

This tempered aluminum pole has the JBL635 replaceable sling is made of black surgical rubber and adjusts easily for power variation. The 5'8" (172.7 cm) model breaks down into two parts of 34" (86.4 cm). The JBL846 Paralyzer Tip has hardened spring stainless steel tines with barbs for better holding power. It has Paralyzing action to subdue fish, and is used in rocks and reefs primarily for medium to small fish. This breakdown pole spear comes with a carry case for easy transport when broken down.
