This is a cheap piece of garbage. It is too thick to fit into the Ikelite PCLite. The cost of return shipping means that I will through the three lights out.

I use this for lights and knifes, but can be use on most of scuba things that may need lanyards such as cameras, small bags, dry boxes, etc.

Ikelite started producing this lanyard for its lights. This one came free with the Kileite PCm LED I recently bought. One one hand it is good to have a lanyard specific for your Ikelite light, on the other hand this lanyard could be a lot better. I prefer a lanyard that is very elastic, and that can break if needed. If your light get stuck, the lanyard should break if you pull really hard. The material used for this lanyard is barely elastic, and it is too hard. A homemade lanyard made with a piece of elastic rope is a better solution.

It's a little small if you have large hands or wear gloves

Freeing up your hands underwater is a must for safe diving practices, but when night diving you usually have your hands full. You need to watch your gauges, adjust your buoyancy amongst other thinks when underwater. Having your dive light, attached to a lanyard allows you to drop the hand held item, yet it hangs secure in fingertip reach at all times. Lanyard has barrel slide to custom fit your wrist size. Lanyard prevents loss of lite when not being held. The Ikelite Lanyard is made from rubber and plastic.
