Hyperlite Cryptic Wakeboard

The Hyperlite Cryptic series yields quick edge response and aggressive feel with massive pop off the wake as requested by Josh Twelker. Shaped by Greg Nelson the Cryptic is a fast board incorporating a continuous rocker and slightly wider profile. The shape includes a subtle landing feature in the belly transitioning to dual concave tunnels exiting the tip & tail for an aggressive approach to the wake. The variable edge design is beveled between the stance platform for a forgiving feel sharpening at tip & tail for secure edging. Twelker says the Cryptic is a free rider's delight with effortless carving and an explosive pop off the wake.

Designed to carry great speed into the wake with minimal drag, a Continuous rocker generates a longer trajectory with similar pop every time. Monocoque Construction: Integrating the top and bottom fiberglass layers into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination. Layered Glass: Hyperlite's fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.

Biolite 3 Core: The secret recipe Hyperlite has been perfecting since day one. This core material is the gold standard in the industry and used throughout Hyperlite's line. Biolite 3 is Hyperlite's lightest and most durable formula to date. Variable Thickness Profile: Fluctuating thickness of the board, most commonly a thickness reduction on tip & tail outside the stance platform. Variable Edge Design: Edge shapes that differ from tip to tail, most commonly shifting to sharper edges near tip & tail from a more forgiving, rounded or beveled shape under stance. M6 Inserts: Delivers a more secure fit of the bolts to the inserts, improving bolt retention keeping binding hardware locked down. Minimum Swing Weight Profile: Thinning of the tip/tail profile for an effortless feel while spinning flat and during inverts.

The Hyperlite Cryptic Wakeboard is available in four models depending on the rider's weight range. All boards have a continuous 2.8" (7.1cm) rocker height, 4-fin set up of 0.8" (2cm), and a hole pattern offset of 6" (15.25cm). The 134 model measures (L x W) 52.76 x 17.13" (134 x 43.5cm), with a total surface area of 820" (2,083cm), has a tip/tail width of 12.75" (32.4cm), stance options of 19" to 23" (48.25cm to 58.4cm), and a weight range up to 160 lbs (72.57kg). The 138 model measures (L x W) 54.33 x 17.4" (138 x 44.2cm), with a total surface area of 860" (2,184cm), has a tip/tail width of 12.9" (32.77cm), stance options of 19" to 23" (48.25cm to 58.4cm), and a weight range up to 185 lbs (83.9kg). The 142 model measures (L x W) 55.9 x 17.4" (142 x 44.2cm), with a total surface area of 890" (2,261cm), has a tip/tail width of 13" (33cm), stance options of 20" to 24" (51cm to 61cm), and a weight range of 170 lbs (77kg) and up. The 146 model measures (L x W) 57.48 x 17.65" (142 x 44.8cm), with a total surface area of 920" (2,337cm), has a tip/tail width of 13.125" (33.34cm), stance options of 21" to 25" (51.3cm to 63.5cm), and a weight range of 180 lbs (81.65kg) and up.
