If you are prone to ear infection issues, perhaps your physician can help you be prepared by keeping anti-inflammation drops for ears (Otic Preparations) and/or antibiotics for Acute Otitis Media/ear infections with you when you dive. Warm alcohol drops into the ear after diving are good for your ears, too. The alcohol kills many germs and then readily evaporates.JAMES L : No, not waterproof. Water still gets in the ear, but it stays warmer than without it.ERIC H : Not waterproof. Wetsuits get their name because you still get wet while wearing one. Your body quickly heats the thin layer of water that gets in and you’re insulated from the cooler surrounding water by the wetsuit material.

Good product for the follicly challenged.

Worked well. No air bubbles underneath. Originally bought a medium by size chart but followed with a large and gave the medium to a friend. Medium fit well but chin strap seemed short. Longer face perhaps. I will keep using it going forward to prevent sunburn even in warmer waters.

Henderson 2.5 Thermoprene Sport Cap

I ordered 2 sports caps for me and my husband to help maintain body heat while scuba diving; so much heat loss while under water is through one’s head. After using my cap for 20 dives in one week in December I did notice a big difference in keeping warm; I also kept the cap on during surface intervals on the boat. I was much more comfortable than usual after multiple days of diving..I will never leave home without my cap, and I would recommend this product to anyone who tends to chill after multiple dives.

Fits really nice

The cap fits really nice. What I liked the most is the strap. It's much more than Velcro on one side which attaches to the other Velcro side. What makes this different is that the scrap goes through a loop and then attaches to the Velcro which gives it a nice not too tight secured fit

Just what I needed!

Comfortable and light, this cap keeps me warm while diving and keeps the sun off my head on the SCUBA tender after the dive. The chin strap keeps in on my head in the wind and while under water and I don’t even feel it while diving.

Picked this up for some night diving in Cozumel, and it was helpful. Good for a starting accessory to warmth. Doesn’t have a hole on top to vent air bubbles but I didn’t notice any pulling or conehead effect. Enough space around the face where it didn’t interfere with mask. Was worth the buy.
