PERFECT warm water Hoodie.

Perfect hoodie for extended warm water diving. Packs light, provides warmth, ferfect for extended diving (13-day liveaboard in my case) in warm Indonesian water (Raja Ampat). Would love to see a few venting holes to release O2. Otherwise, great.

Good but needs vents.

This is a nice hood that fit well, but the 1.5 mm does not come with an air vent. This is a problem because air from my regulator fills the hood and pulls it. I solved this by cutting a couple of small holes in the top to let the air out. I don’t know why it isn’t sold with air vents like the thicker ones.

It was great for what I bought it for!

I bought this hood because the one I had on a semi dry suit fit a little loose. When wearing both hoods it stopped all water from leaking in. It was also great to leave on for the cold boat ride in after a 2 tank dive at 80 feet. It is a very versatile hood !

Comfortable and warm.

Very comfortable. Good stretch. I use it in 74-78 degree temps. I tend to be chilled diving but this helps a lot!

Great hood

Purchased this and the lycra hood after my long hair got caught in my tank. Worked perfectly to keep my hair out of my gear and overall less tangled. Added a little bit of warmth, but not too much. Only downside if you will probably get a little air inside. Easily remedied by pushing it out or cutting a small hole in the top.

There is no better way to boost warmth than to add a bibbed hood to your exposure protection gear. Layer it with any type of full-length or shorty suit for added warmth when diving.
