Mark M : The description reads "This is not a set" by which I think you mean that the cam strap with metal buckle and the cam strap pad are not sold as a set. Is this correct? If correct, where can I find the cam strap pad? Thanks, MMMYAN G : It means that this is just one cam band, not two.KEN R : The Hollis cam does not come with a friction pad. I asked Hollis a out this and there explanation was that it was not needed so they removed them. I believe the set commen though is that it is only one band not two. They are sold separately since so done might want them for a side mount, spare etc. if your looking to connect a single wing you'll probay need two.ROBERT G : yes, you need the pad or the piece of channeled rubber that the belt fits in. This rubber piece does all the holding of the air tank. Without this rubber piece your tank will fall out.CARSTEN M : Hi MMM, You get 1 band with metal buckle and 1 rubber pad. This is weird as I don't recall buying this but I might have bought it back before Hollis put their name on everything. I do one one set (2) that are of this design and I probably got them here. It will come with the one band, metal buckle and the pad. You have to have a pad with one of these to keep them from slipping on the tank. Every cam band I have every seen (I own atleast 10 now and have had others) comes with some rubberized type area or a small piece of neoprene material to prevent slippage. Bottom line, you should get what you see in the picture. One band only with the one pad pad. Durable, but annoying to use.

I'm biased. I plan on purchasing a set of Highland Cam Bands which disconnect at the buckle. These bands, when fit appropriately to my AL-80 tank, make it rather difficult to remove the tank at the end of a dive. The straps seem to grip the side of the tank. which is nice for when you dont want the tank to go anywhere - but bad when you do!

Thick and Tough

The help and support from these guys was great. Delivery was in good time to New Zealand and they arrived in excellent condition(the goods, not the guys). I would/will use them again and have no problem recommending them to anyone - WORLDWIDE.
