I had no problem with it staying in place. It is a very comfortable mask.COLE P : Yes, the strap is split in the back to provide more support. I didn’t like the strap that it came with because the strap would not stay put once I had it adjusted. The notches would slip out of the buckle. I replaced it with a neoprene strap. Superb Hollis M4 Mask

Excellent mask for the $$$. I have three and will not use a different mask! Recommend that you try this mask if you are serious about diving and need a mask that will not fail.

Amazing

I got this mask for my Advanced/ Rescue class, the mask I had been using fogged easily, leaked, and always hurt the top of my noes especially at the end of a long dive. This mask is better than I could have asked for, it has a snug fit, so comfortable I barely even notice it on my face, lenses resist fogging, this mask is definitly an ideal mask.

Visibility is good, but seal is not!

The visibility of this mask is great which is why I choose to but it, but the mask unfortunately leaks quite a bit. I tightened the mask straps but they seem to loosen up throughout the dive. I guess this mask just doesn't fit my face well. I noticed this mask runs smaller than any other masked I have tried. So small in fact that the nose pocket was tight and the rim of my nose touches the bottom of the nose pocket. I would recomend this mask for small faces like children or woman.

Great Mask

I purchased the mask and went off to get advanced open water and rescue diver certified. The mask fit well and was very comfortable. It tended to fog easily but cleared up quite well by letting a little sea water in to roll around. the fogging should be less of an issue with more use. I recommend the mask.

Great mask!

When choosing a mask, fit and field of vision come first. The M-4 gives you the best of both worlds, fitting a wide variety of faces and offering superior peripheral and vertical vision. It is low profile, stows easy and carries an excellent value. Mask has a single lens made from tempered glass for excellent optical characteristics and safety. The frameless black silicone skirt has a double feathered edge for a perfect seal, large one handed nose pocket for easy ear equalization. The easy adjust-buckles and quality wide split black silicone mask strap will keep the mask properly in place for even the longest day of diving, and when the day is over stow your M4 in the accompanying mask box.
