Questions & Answers

José Antonio R : I size 9.5 US in normal shoes, I should go with the REG or XL?JOE S : It depends what boots you are using. If it's a drysuit using bulky boots, you may want to consider a size up. A regular wetsuit boot would fit the size regular.
Shopper : What's the sizing of the small (from toe to strap)?Mario C : 12 1/4 in - *in case the boot reach the end of the foot pocket
Shopper : whats the length?KEVIN F : The XL size 22.25" the blade itself. 24" if you include the spring strap.
Nathaniel T : Are these fins neutrally buoyant?KEVIN F : They are not neutrally buoyant but they are more buoyant than the standard F1.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?JOSEPH H : I have had these fins for 6 years, going from commercial dive school to working in the industry and mine are still going strong. Just finally decided to get some new ones

Very Precise

These fins are awesome. They have very good maneuverability and give precise adjustment power. Helicopter turns are very precise. However, they are on the heavy side, though not super heavy. For normal wetsuit diving, they will pull your legs down. I would probably recommend more for dry suits but I?ve dove them wet dozens of times for the excellent control and only needed to make small adjustments when staying still (e.g adjusting other equipment or tying off)

Best Fins that will make you super fast and use less energy

I was using the Scuba Pro Go fins and didn't know any better. Then I borrowed a pair of Hollis F1 LT Fins and I immediately was upset because I knew I had to have these. The speed you get is incredible. They didn't alter my profile. I felt like I had so much more control. Yeah, they are just fins, but when you realize you can conserve energy and conserve air while doing so, you'll see your dive times will improve. I had 71 minutes on my most recent dive. Up until then I struggled to 45 minutes. Yes, it's part experience and just practice but I noticed I was able to move in and out of swells or current with a lot less work. Just be aware that you will leave your buddies behind because when you kick with these you will move super fast. I ended up just modifying my kick to make it take less energy and not leave my buddies behind. Best fins!

Great fin!

Amazing fun. I got rid of my old beginner long fins, these perform great, when I’m in a wreck my fins don’t hit anything when maneuvering, just a little bit of movement is necessary to yield the desired result. I think this comes from the increased surface area on the sides. They provide great propulsion too.

Heavier but good

This fin is quite heavy, but not any heavier than my previous Jet fin. They are a bit shorter and still equally powerful for frog kick. My girlfriend loves her too.

I like the OMS slipstream fins much better for drysuit diving. Wide foot pocket and easy to self donn. Not quite as stiff but still plenty of thrust.

Good stiff fin with plenty of thrust for pushing doubles and stage bottles. Traded my 2XLs for XLs and with my size 12 fusion boots the foot pocket is still too deep, leaving a small entry opening between the end of the foot pocket and the spring strap. Makes it hard to self donn these fins unless you're on the deck of the boat or have some assistance.

Heavier than I thought

They're considerably(1 lb each) heavier than the Slipstreams in Reg, somewhat(3/4 lb each) heavier than the Dive Rite XTs. Foot pocket is OK for a stiff soled Henderson size 9 boot, too big for the soft soled Pinnacle boot. They should be similar to the F1s as far as the tech and no-silt kicks go.
